Which countries pay the highest CPM (dollars per 1000 views) here on YouTube?

I found this card buried in the YouTube Studio app - you can't get this information from the desktop YouTube Studio: Top Countries by CPM.

So I scroll through which countries pay me the most on YouTube because I thought you'd like to see who pays the most Google Adsense money, which might affect your RPM.

hello welcome back to the happy hut i'm Neil and i noticed something in my last video about how much money i earn right here on youtube and i used my youtube studio app and in that video here's a clip here there was this card here which is countries by cpm this is basically the highest paying countries in the world for ads per 1000 views on your youtube videos it's it's called cpm which is cost per mille which is what the advertisers pay in each country per 1000 views and i didn't realize this at the time but you can click that card and see exactly all the countries in the world and what they pay your youtube channel so i'm going to share mine here now sorry it's a bit windy and i think it's going to rain any second try and do this quickly but here's my youtube studio app and i've gone to the revenue tab at the top there and then if you scroll down that tab you get to top geographies by cpm australia for example here is the top country it pays twenty dollars and thirteen cents for every one thousand views on my channel on average so i thought i'd go through all the countries so you can see the top countries in the world advertising on youtube on my channel right now uh the top five are australia at twenty dollars i'll just round it up switzerland at 14. the united states is at 14 and again i always thought that the us would be the top player but not for my channel jordan bizarrely is at 13 per 1000 views and above the uk which is where i am and where i would have thought most of my viewers are the netherlands pays 11.96 let's scroll down now to the bottom and see which is the lowest paying country on youtube what do you think that is before we get there below the uk is ireland at 10.99 got australia norway finland new zealand so what will be lower we'll be at the bottom do you think maybe it's a growing african nation or maybe some disputed territory in asia or maybe a poor country in the middle of an international conflict we're hitting the five dollars mark at japan so let's go below five dollars per 1000 views we've got luxembourg there slovakia and guam just scrolling down dominican republic north macedonia or krakow i don't even know how to pronounce that it looks like crosstalk oh my geography is so bad let's go down some more we've got poland nigeria bosnia we're now heading towards the one dollar per 1 000 views mark got kazakhstan india look at that india is below kazakhstan at 1.30 virgin islands montenegro okay now we are down to below one dollar per 1000 views we've got tunisia ecuador we've got iraq and then completely understandably the lowest country cpm right now on youtube on my channel your channel might be different but for me it's ukraine at 13 cents per 1000 views with iceland just above it yesterday this is why i wanted to make this video bizarrely it cost more to advertise to ukraine than iceland i've got screen grab here but it looks like today those positions have flipped slightly so those are the highest paying countries on youtube you can only get this information on the youtube studio app i don't know why but it's not available on youtube studio on the desktop so if you have this app what are your top paying countries and what is your bottom country as well i'd love to hear in the comments below i've made a special playlist all about how much money i earn right here on youtube it's up here now and down here is what youtube thinks you should be watching next thanks for subscribing and i'll see you on the next metrics video can you please help my daddy get 1 000 subscribers just click on the space thanks bye how was that
