Are you looking for a new induction hob for your kitchen? So are we. Have a look at this. This is our IKEA BLIXTSNABB induction hob. And yeah, we've revealed a bit of the electronics here when a member of the family had enough of it. We've had this for about 5 years and we've Oh, I I think we've had a bit of a hate hate relationship with it. So, it's awful that this has happened, but actually it's probably time to get a new one. Anyway, I went to John Lewis in Oxford Street in London to look at 30 induction hobs. I'm going to show you everything I saw. This is for looks only with these induction hobs because I'm shallow and also because none of them are plugged in. Here's an induction hog. This is the Smeg. Oh my goodness. SIM3964D

1,600 quid.

Looks nice. Very minimalist control.

And this is I don't know what this is. The Siemens. Looks good. I don't know what this is. This the Siemens one again. Minimalist controls. Then we have the Bosch PIE631BB5E 60 cm induction hob. Oh, I like that one. Nice big obvious rings.

And I guess you select the ring there. And then there's the up and down button there. This one is £499.

This looks kind of solid. I think Bosch and Neff are the same thing, aren't they? It's the same company. They got the same address, I think. And this is a Bosch PIX631HC1E for £700. So, we got two big rings there. And we've got a multi-use area here. And that's what the controls look like. Oh, hob shopping. How many people will see this? Oh, right. So, these are Right. So, these are the value ones. So, we got a Bosch series 2 PKE61RAA8B 60 cm one. It looks exactly the same as the £500 one, but it's £244 and we've got four rings. Simple controls there. It's a Bosch.

I think our one might be a bit wider. I think our one is this... is that shape. There's another 60 cm here. Oh, with knobs. Oh my god, it'll be so good to have knobs. This is 233 pounds. There's a warming button. Oh, I love the knobs.

Okay, moving on. This is the Bosch series 6 PIV831HB1E. Yeah, this is the size we need. Simple

controls. This one is £900.

And then the Bosch PXV... Oh, I should show you the the signage, shouldn't it? So, that was that one. This is the Bosch PXV831HC1E
three pot areas, and a multi-function area with simple controls.

So, what size is this one?

I can't tell.

I think these are gas hobs.

Where's one here? So, this is the Bosch PUG61RAA5B hob for £285

with the minimalist control. Look at that scratch. That's just being on display. That's how it'll end up in our place.

It looks like only one has one ring has the boost. Maybe that's the cost. And then £359

for this Bosch. Doesn't say what model it is. There's the controls. I think that's too short for us. That looks like a 60 cm one, but there's no labels. There's an AEG one. Again, no label.

Think there's a gas. Oh, right. So, this is AEG. This is £750. TK85IM00FB.

That looks like the size of ours. Does it say 78 cm?

Doesn't say the width. So, I'll show you the label again. It's a bit faded. Oh, yeah. Width is 78 cm. Wow. Some of them look bigger even though they're standard 78 cm size.

And then this is the AEG IKX64301CB.

That one is 279. I don't think it's 78 wide though.

And I love this one. It's nice and matte matte finish. It's too short for us. This is £459.

The John Lewis code is 890611.

And then underneath,

oh, I love this. I really like this. I like that it's matte black. I wonder if it scratches less. These are the controls. And this is John Lewis number show you 890504

I think for £769.

Really like that one. Bridge zone SaphirMatt.

So onto the next wall of hobs. This is the Neff T66NUX4A0 and it's got a... a matte finish. I like that. Looks really good. Very minimalist control and it just looks like it's all uh multizone.

So this is the Neff N70 T66FHX4L0. It's a 60 cm width one, £700. Just lots of multi-zone areas and a weird control there. That chip. That's how easy it chips. That's why I want this kind of thing. I don't know if it's more expensive. And then did I do the one underneath? Can't remember. No. So this is the Neff T56FHS1L0 £550 multi-zone area two pot area. These are 60 cm ones. Two pot multi-area.

It's that one. T66FHE4L0. The other one is that one.

Sorry about the wobbly, shaky footage. It's the best I can do. Right now, we're on to the Oh my god, this looks really wide for me. The width. Let's have a look here. It's a Neff T69. Hasn't got width. This looks way wider than 78 cm.

That's £1150. The next one's £900. That looks like a 78cm. Oh, this width is 80cm. So, we've got a bit of extra. I wonder if it fits a 78 hole. We've got three pots. Control multi-function area. That is this one here.

The next one. This is for a grand, the Neff N90. I mean, it just looks identical.

That's that one. And then this one, the Neff T58. Oh, it doesn't open. Don't want to break it. Looks identical.

£920 for a Miele

Four hot areas. That looks like a bit of a dead area. Maybe put things for cooling there. Nice simple controls. That's this one. The KM7373.

These are two I think they're 60 cm ones. Yeah, this is the Miele KM7361FL for £850 four pots areas like before. And this one, KM7464. This is for £1,500. It looks identical, but it's got a chrome edge to it. So, I suppose that protects it, which might be worth a bit of extra money. Two pots, one multi-area, but I think this one is 60cm wide. Okay, two more drawers around the corner here. We've got the John Lewis JLBIIH806. This is for £480 reduced.

This looks okay. Uh so John Lewis branded. Um lots of pot areas. Got one, two, three, four, five pot areas and five separate controls in the John Lewis font there. I don't know if that's coming across on camera there. It's shiny surface. Bit difficult to to do. That looks like a contender. I don't know who makes them though. this. There's always a problem when John Lewis stuff goes wrong cuz it's not made by them and then they have to refer you to someone else which is a pain in the hole. Then we got this John Lewis one just a different width with four pot areas and Samsung. Wow. Samsung product. It's a 60cm one. So that's the John Lewis one there. Pause the video. We got the Samsung NZ64 hob there

and it's got the Smart Things thing on it. I don't... I hate smart things. I just want to press a button and it works. And then I think these are gas hobs. Let's have a look. Yeah, they're gas. Oh, happy days. I remember. Then that's a invisible one there.

So that's it. Those are the the hob options in John Lewis right now. Oh man, I haven't seen one that's leapt out.

The Heaviest Unboxing I’ve Ever Done

The day has finally come to sort out our kitchen corner! We are unboxing and building our brand new dining table: the Nkuku Fia large dining table (FT1010). At 2m 20cm long, 90cm wide, and weighing in at 94kg (with a total delivery package weight of 105kg), this turns out to be the ultimate heavy lifting challenge.

I tackle unboxing this massive slab of mango wood with my son, figuring out the iron leg attachments, and flipping this 100kg beast upright to see how much crucial space we have reclaimed in the kitchen.

The Heaviest Unboxing I’ve Ever Done

So, the day has come. We finally sorted out this corner of the kitchen. It means I'm going to flash forward. I can't see what you're seeing right now. This, I'm hoping is our brand new kitchen table. [music] And it looks incredible. Except I don't know that it looks incredible because I haven't built it yet. So, let's unbox this. It is an Nkuku FT1010 FIA dining table large. So, this one is 90cm wide and 2m 20cm long. It weighs 94 kg. The whole package that we're we're hauling here is 105 kg. And oh, it it heavy. Thing is, I have no idea how we're going to get this out of the box. It is so heavy. Oh, this is the ultimate unboxing. I don't think I've ever unboxed something so heavy. So, it's a lot lighter, you know, in colour than than I thought it would be. You thought it would look like this? Well, I remember when we were in John Lewis and we saw it and I took loads of photos and video of us just sitting at it just to try and imagine what it would be like. And I even I even took a photo or a video of where how it would look from this angle. So, this is the angle now. And I had to imagine this angle was the same as the angle that we were looking at the table. But now look at it. It's just enormous. I... I don't know if there are any instructions. It's just... it's just a big block of wood, isn't it? I love the the corner edges here. That's so nice. I think the reason it weighs so much is that it has these really solid metal legs. I think the next step is to lift this over to the side. Uh, should we push it? I can't [laughter] I can't push it

There. Do you think that's enough space if I fold this open? Okay.

I mean, this could damage the floor as well as the table. Oh, well done.

It doesn't sound good, does it? I'm hoping it's the cardboard. [laughter] It doesn't sound good, does it? Yeah, it's the cardboard. Please God, it's cardboard. So, now have a look at the Nkuku legs. I should have called you Nkuku. That would have been a cool name.

"Nkuku! Put the pigeon down!" Right. So, here's one leg. Can you find for his treasure hunt? Oh, jeez. These are really heavy. Are there any like bolts or instructions or anything? Joe, if I lift it up quick, quick, quick. Look underneath. The bolts are in. Yeah. Oh, so they're making that noise on the cardboard. Punching through and going into our floor. Into our floor. Okay. Well tell you what. If we take the leg over here, maybe we could flip it upside down again. Maybe I was supposed to open it the other way up, but the box was folded this way. Upside down. How the flip are we going to flip it back up? Exactly. [music]

So, unless we've... we've not found the instructions yet. I know it's really simple, but I just need some confirmation. Underneath, we've got these bolts, and you undo them by hand. Uh, and they're lettered A, B, C, and D. And then on the legs, the really super heavy metal legs, we've got corresponding letters. So, how hard can this be? I have to go to screwfix to buy a wrench. Do you think we bent...? Look, [clears throat] the other one's really bent. Joe, I can't take this one off either. Should we lie it on its back? We're going to have to, aren't we?

You sure about the bare feet? [laughter] It is the hottest day of the year. Right. So, we got ...What? We got... Let me see. So, we're going to lay... lay it down. Fingers crossed. And a couple of them that they don't look straight. So, I'm hoping it will just go in straight first time. Yes. Here we go. And that's laid down. Yeah. Yeah. Have you used it all on the bike? Uh, yeah. I think there's an upside and a downside with these. Oh, [laughter] I've put the nuts on! I don't know. Oh my god. I've just put the nuts on before the legs. [laughter] Yeah. Put the legs on first before you put the bolts on.

You look like those men who build things in... like the hole in the ground and they're like digging with their hands.

So, now we've got both legs on. Uh, it's time to get it into its final position. This is a momentous moment. Here we go. Ready? Going to flip it that way. Yeah.

Yeah. Then we leave it. Job done. Okay. So, if we lift it that way a bit. I don't go to the gym. So, you're moving and I'm not. Yeah. Thanks. Ah, it's the circle of life. Ready? One, two, three, go. Sorry, I can't. My fingers are under it. Okay. One, two, three, go.

Wow. Look at that. Oh, it's not. It's a lot higher than I thought it would be. We didn't check the height, did we? No. No. Look. Yeah. Our food will be closer to our mouths. I don't like seeing you disappear under a 100kg object. Ready?

Oh, wow. This looks so much better than our last Our last table we absolutely loved. But our last table was 1m wide and this is a crucial 10cm narrower. It does look odd though, doesn't it? I suppose we're so used to seeing the other one. Can I go now? Yeah, you can go now. Thanks for your help

Is a new DEHUMIDIFIER FILTER worth it? (How to fit Meaco Arete filters...)

It's been 2.5 years since I bought my MeacoDry Arete One dehumidifier, and I've never changed the filter. Meaco recommends changing it every 3 months. In this video, I'm doing the overdue and pricey task of changing the HEPA filter. I'll show you what a filter looks like after two and a half years of use, and I'll walk you through the simple, step-by-step process of putting in a new one with this honest review. I'll also share my own money-saving calculations ("Dadanomics"), and tell you why it's so important to protect the fan and mechanism inside these expensive machines.

Is a new DEHUMIDIFIER FILTER worth it? (How to fit Meaco Arete filters...)

TRANSCRIPT: (CLICK PLAY ON THE VIDEO ABOVE)

THIS IS THE TRANSCRIPT - CLICK PLAY ON THE VIDEO ABOVE!

I am just a little bit too excited about this. I am going to change the HEPA filter in our Meaco dehumidifier so you can follow along and see what that's like. Because we bought this MeacoDry Arete One dehumidifier 2 1/2 years ago. Uh we got it here from Costco. It's the 18L one, which is the same size as the 20L and 25L dehumidifiers by Meaco Dry. Here's the challenge. Meaco recommend that you change the filters every 3 months, which means that I've missed out on this about 10 times at the moment. I'll show you what it looks like if you don't follow the recommendation and don't change your air filter. I'll show you how the air filter looks. Should we have a look around the back? So, this is the Arete One. The Arete Two is very similar to this. I'm dwarfed by this. I'm trying to get it all in one shot. So, I've got it on the on the kitchen table, but this is how the the filter comes off. There's like this plastic section on the back. This is the Arete One. The Arete Two is really similar to this. So, we just slide this off. And then inside, if I hold it up to the camera, that is how the filter looks after 2 and 1/2 years if you don't change the filter. I only hoovered this a couple of weeks ago just to get the big chunks of dust off the edges from where the filter sits. I actually made this video about vacuuming the filter area on my dehumidifier. It has a... a fine grill next to the changeable air filter and that really clogs up with dust. I got a lot of stick in that last video for vacuuming the filter. There was they were saying things like you shouldn't hoover it. You should change it. I get that. I get it. But the hardest part for having a dehumidifier for most people is these these are pretty significant purchases. The these things ain't cheap. And that's before you even factor in the running costs as well. So to spend, wait for it, £40 on a pack of air filters like this seems insane. I... I completely understand. I feel the same way, too. I bought these air filters with my own money. Uh I got them from the Meaco site. I was going to get the off-brand ones from Amazon because that's how I roll, and they looked okay, but it was really difficult to get the right size. you know, the exact correct dimensions for the exact dehumidifier. They are on there, but sometimes the listings are mis-listed. The dimensions, they just don't seem right for what they claim to be. Should we open them up? This feels like a real treat. So, I spent £40 on this. I mean, that's I was going to say it's a night out. Uh, they come sealed in a bag, and on the site, they say they can't accept returns if this bag is open. So, should we do it? Should we Should we do it? Should we open it up? This blows 40 quid. So you get three in the pack. So if it's £40 for three, you can see there's the official Meaco logo on the top there. £40 for a pack of three. I make that about 13 quid per filter. So for 3 months equates to about a pound a week uh if you change these filters every 3 months. Those maths are Dadanomics and I do them all the time to try and feel better about spending money on this. makes it more palatable somehow to put the the filter in. It's so clean and white. I haven't seen it looking like this for well over 2 years. So, I tend to I think you can put them either way round. They have ribbons on the side for helping to to pull them out, but I tend to just so I can remember which way round it is. I tend to put it in with the Meaco logo facing outwards and the ribbons can help you pull it out. Push it in. It's a really snug fit. So, you can see there's uh there's like a foam, a black foam around the edge, and that kind of compresses to to hold it in place. And then if you're doing this, I'd probably recommend running a... a vacuum around the edges because it should be gunked up with dust by the time you pull it out. I've already done that, pre-cleaned it. And I just run the Hoover over the the grill here. Also, before you do it, I do make sure that this honeycomb is vacuumed out cuz that really gets lots of dust clogged up. I think I've got some footage here from the last time that I hoovered this. I'll just push the filter into the tray. I mean, I think there's a particular way up it has to go. I think the notch goes on the outside and this just slides in like that until it goes clunk. The thinking also goes, if you're going to run one of these, why not purify the air at the same time? And I think this filter actually protects the mechanism. It actually protects the really super expensive dehumidifier. It stops it from getting clogged up, getting dust into the fan inside and the mechanism inside. We can't open this up. You probably could, but I wouldn't I wouldn't try it. I think it invalidates all kinds of warranties. I wouldn't know what to do in there anyway. they they don't open up easily, so we can't get inside to to clean it. To change the filter on a Meaco Arete Two, it's exactly the same process, but the filters are completely different sizes, and they're also different sizes for the smaller Arete One's as well, the 10L and 12L sized dehumidifiers. So, be careful that you get the right one. And congratulations, we have now changed the filter on a Meaco dehumidifier. I'm calling this a dad delivers a success. Thanks for getting this. I feel dwarfed by this thing again. I think it's the camera angle, but thank you for hitting the thumbs up or the subscribe button if you've reached this point of the video. I really appreciate it. It really helps me to keep this channel going. So, thank you. And right here is what YouTube knows you want to be watching next.

🥩 Air Fryer PORK CHOPS in minutes! Cooking time & temperature with Ninja Foodi Max

THIS IS THE TRANSCRIPT - CLICK PLAY ON THE VIDEO ABOVE!

How do you make pork chops in a Ninja air fryer? Or any air fryer? You don't have to do any of this. I just thought it might give them a bit more flavour. Pretend this is olive oil by the way. Next I'm going to season the loin steaks. If I had garlic powder I'd use it but I don't. I'm going to put some paprika.

Some parts of the world call it paprika powder. Anyway, it's time for us to now bung it in the air fryer! I'm going to dial up 375°F or 190°C. And then for the time, 10 minutes, five minutes left to go. Let's pause it there by pulling the, the tray out and I'll show you how they're looking and we'll just turn them over and I think I might give them six minutes, but let's, let's put them in.

Yeah, let's dial up 6 minutes. All right, let's see how the pork chops look. Oh, sizzling, sizzle, sizzle. Look at that. Oh my goodness. That is almost. Thumbnail worthy. And if we cut into one of the steaks, we're going to cut into all of them, but oh, look at it opening up there. I hate doing this on camera, partly because it's me eating on camera.

Yeah, they're absolutely perfect. I am calling this a dad delivers success!

How to cook delicious CRISPY DUCK in AIR FRYER! Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone Airfryer...

How can you cook the PERFECT AROMATIC CRISPY DUCK in an Air Fryer?
I share how easy and quick it is to make this delicious Asian duck dish: with the correct cooking time and temperature using a Ninja Foodi Max DualZone Air Fryer for half a duck.
PLUS how we also prepare our pancakes!

How to cook delicious CRISPY DUCK in AIR FRYER! Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone Airfryer...

TRANSCRIPT: (CLICK PLAY ON THE VIDEO ABOVE)

THIS IS THE TRANSCRIPT - CLICK PLAY ON THE VIDEO ABOVE!
Look, can you see Casper over here? Here you are—the definition of hopeful there. You could not look more pleading. Oh, Casper! Hello, welcome back to the channel! Can you cook Peking crispy duck—so it's crispy aromatic duck—in an air fryer? That's what I'm trying, and you're seeing video footage from the future. I do not know how this is going to work out. I've just edited these pictures in, and I'm doing this for the first time, and I have no idea whether this is going to work in this Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone air fryer. The details of the air fryer are down in the description, and I've got this from the supermarket here in the UK.

Let's open it up. Obviously, wherever you're watching this around the world, it's probably different for you, but in this country—the UK—we can buy crispy aromatic duck. This is half a duck. Doesn't look like half a duck, does it? This is a half duck, and it's come prepackaged. It's not frozen; it's just chilled, and I think it's got some sauce and seasoning on it. But in the box, you get some pancakes and some hoisin sauce as well, which is lovely. But it's the duck that we need to work out how to cook.

I've said this a few times on my air fryer videos that Ninja say you do not need to preheat the air fryer before cooking. But I think with the duck, I do want the... I do want the duck to hit the heat—hit it as soon as it goes in. By the way, this is a regular feature on the channel called "Bung it in the Air Fryer," and I have a whole playlist of food that we have bunged in the air fryer. But to preheat, obviously, I don't need to bung anything in the air fryer, so I'm going to choose... let's choose roast, and, uh, I’ll put it on the highest temperature I can. Hit start.

This is just to warm up the chambers. I’d better check they're clean... Yeah, clean... Oh no, someone's had a sneaky croissant in here! Okay, we're going to have to stop that and preheat the other zone. So I'll hit on to roast, temperature, and we'll just... we'll just give it 5 minutes.

While that is warming up, it's time to prepare the veg. We could do this while the duck's cooking, but there's no time like the present. So this is my beautiful, hardworking, unstoppable wife cutting up the cucumber. She's feeling a bit self-conscious about her cutting, but it's way better than my vegetable cutting. We're just going to cut these into strips and arrange them in a nice Asian bowl, and we've managed to find a few spring onions from the bottom, right... right at the back of the vegetable rack in our fridge. We thought we had four spring onions here, but one of them doesn't quite make the grade, so in the bin that goes.

And you can't hear this with the air fryer and the music in the background, but the chomping in the background is Casper. He's having his dinner. It's good that he has this now, so he's not begging us when the duck comes out of the air fryer. Sorry, Casper, this isn't for you. And just as self-consciously as the cucumber, because we're not chefs—we're just sharing our cooking times, and you can, uh, judge our techniques as much as you like. We don't care; we're the ones that get to eat this, and hopefully this walkthrough is helpful for you if you're planning on some crispy aromatic half duck in the air fryer.

I think the basket is nice and hot now, and I have washed my hands. And on the instructions, they do say for a regular oven you need to place it skin side up. So I'll try and do that—that's the skin side up—and hopefully it fits. Oh, can you hear the sizzle? Amazing! It's exactly why I wanted to preheat it. And I'm going to put that in here... let's clear—you want to clear all of this.

You're watching this in the future, so I will put on screen now the actual time that worked out for us. But for this experiment, I'm going to put it on roast, and I'm going to dial up 400°F, which is 200°C, and I'm going to try just to start with... I’m going to try 25 minutes, but I'll put on screen now the actual time that you'll need to put it on for.

It is time to "Bung it in the air fryer!"
All we need to do now is to hit the big start/stop button, and fingers crossed, we'll see how this comes out. Just something else that we can get ready—and that's the sachet of hoisin sauce, the plum sauce. Oh, I need the bowl. It’s going to have 25 minutes to get this ready and very elegantly prepare that for the table. More plastic bags... So now we have the sauce, and the cucumber and onions ready to put into our pancakes.

It's the final countdown now... 3, 2, 1. Let's see how it's looking! Oh my goodness, that is looking absolutely sizzling. Hoping it's coming across on camera, that is looking absolutely perfect. Now, I... I think that's ready to go, but I don't have a... a meat thermometer, so I'm going to put it in for a few minutes extra just to be sure. But I think... I think that that is looking crispy and done to me. Let's just put it in for another 5 minutes, just to make it super crispy.

It is now 5 minutes later, and let's see how it's looking. Oh boy, so putting it on for the extra 5 minutes hasn't completely wrecked it. Let's elegantly put it into the shredding bowl that I've got ready here. I have to do it one-handed 'cause I'm holding the camera. I was always told it’s good to let the duck rest for, uh, 5 minutes before shredding, so I've given it a few minutes.

It's shredding time! I've got my two forks—let me put the camera up here—and then I'll just use the forks to open it up, and wow, that... looking at absolutely... perfect.

Look, you see Casper over here? You are the definition of hopeful there. You could not look more pleading.
Oh Casper...
Let's get this delicious duck into a pancake. I... I've waited far too long for this, so I've microwaved the pancakes, and I'm just putting on some hoisin sauce, ready for the cucumber and the spring onion.
I know I'm just doing this in a rush.
Uh, on goes the duck, and food preparation when I'm actually dying to just get it in my mouth is not my forte.
Okay, not... not the most elegant pancake in the world, but it's just for a quick test...
oh my goodness.
I am calling this a Dad Delivers success!
I hope this helps you cook duck in the air fryer.

Hello, welcome back to the channel. Today is a really big day in our house, probably the biggest day for the family. Here's a little sneak peek—this is a video about the LG Instaview American-style fridge freezer. But let me tell you how we got here first.

I never thought, when I was growing up, that I would ever own or use an American-style fridge freezer. And then, 8 years ago, the magic happened, and we did it—we got our first American-style fridge freezer. It was a momentous moment, really exciting. But then, after eight years, it went wrong. So this is what the fridge looks like on the inside. There's this little door that lets cold air into the fridge compartment from the freezer, and this door—I think it's called a damper—just stopped working. It iced up; we fixed it, but it just stopped working from time to time. So it was freezing our stuff.

It was a John Lewis branded fridge, but unfortunately, it’s made by Daewoo, and Daewoo decided to stop making fridges. We just could not find this part anywhere. It feels terrible that we can't fix a thing, but we tried for about a year, and I failed. So then we went on the hunt for a new American-style fridge freezer. I've got a whole playlist of videos where we've been just out in shops, staring at fridges.

There were some things we knew we wanted. I really wanted some handles, like our lovely fridge, and that's quite rare to find. And we also didn't want a drink dispenser or ice dispenser, partly because it takes up a lot of space in the freezer compartments, and partly because it's actually a bit useless, isn't it? Instead of just being able to get a glass of water, you have to wait for it to drip out at whatever speed the fridge pumps out. And we also thought the kids—and probably me—would be goofing around and feeding the dog directly from the dispenser. So we didn’t go for the dispenser, but we wanted a fridge that was a bit premium, with something special, but without the drinks dispenser.

Because the drinks dispenser is a feature they put on, it's really difficult to find a fridge with something special about it that doesn't do the ice and water. Well, behold—we did actually find one in the end, and this is how our fridge looked this morning. Very sorry state. We thanked it for its service, gave it a last clean out, but you know what? It's going to be so nice to not worry about all our food being frozen and thrown out.

So, behold! This is the LG Instaview. I'll put the actual model number on screen now. We’re heading for tea time, so you might hear some dinner time noises in the background, but this is the first evening of the LG in our house, and it is looking absolutely magnificent. But the best bit—the best bit—is this.
You ready?
You can actually see into the fridge without opening the door! I can't believe we managed to find a fridge with something special here and nothing special here. We really like this. It stands out a bit proud, and you’d think that American-style fridge freezers surely just have the same depth, but no, which is good because it probably means more space inside.

I think we need to adjust it so that it tilts—it's tilting to the back a bit, so that's not straight. You can see it's kind of flush at the back of the door, but it sticks out a bit here. I think we need to adjust the feet tonight, and that will give us about 5 cm push back. But we do like that it kind of stands out; it’s making its presence known. It's an LG.

Should we look inside? Let's look inside. So this fridge will never look like this ever again. Let's go for the freezer first. I do have a video where we see it in the store, but here are some first impressions. This is a first impressions unboxing, and, uh, the beeps, by the way, are the air fryer, not the fridge. You can see it's got really nice lighting up here, and because it stands forward, it doesn't whack the oven as well, so this is a huge, huge step forward for us. We’ve got one, two, three, four shelves and two bucket shelves—I don’t know what you call it; I was trying to think of the name there.

What's beautiful about this is that the shelves clear the door, and the Samsung fridges that we've seen do not do that. The second thing we love is they’ve got handles, so you can actually take these out—you can just take them all the way out for cleaning or for stuffing with frozen food. Let’s put that back in. And they glide on these glass shelves, which is a nice touch. There’s like a chrome look; I can't tell if it's metal or plastic. It feels like metal on the edges there, so that's fantastic.

It comes with a really measly ice dispenser, but it’s a little dinky ice tray. You probably heard it going “ding dong ding dong” to let us know that I left the door open. I should really let it cool down, but I really want to show you how it looked before we stuff it with food. And then we’ve got adjustable shelves, so this shelf could be on either of these prongs. But it comes with one, two, three, four shelves, and they’re really deep as well, really generous shelving there, so that’s going to hold a lot of stuff, I think.

So let's close that and... should we do the tap again? I can't wait to do this tap. Ready? Oh! So I'll take this label off now. It’s just to... it’s just to show you how it comes, and oo, it's obviously empty at the moment. We’re going to fill it up; I’ll see if I can put that on the video. But if you wanted to turn the light off, you can just tap it again. It's amazing—the quality of it feels really premium.

So we probably wanted something a bit darker, but I think it looks good. I think it looks nice, and it kind of goes with the ovens there. So let's give it another tap, and we'll take a look inside. Yeah, so I didn’t get my handles dream, but we do have grips under the middle of the door here, which is really good. I don’t like the reach to the side—it’s a silly thing, but I just... I love that you can just pull it or pull it. So there's no reach around.

And then behold, the ThinQ. The trays on here are huge, and you can get versions of this LG Instaview fridge freezer where this part of the door opens. I think there’s a catch under the door, but they haven’t provided it on this particular model. But I don’t think we need it; we just wanted to be able to see inside. And I reckon you could get a six-pint of milk there easily. We’ve got four pints now, and we’ve already started to fill it up with pasta and jars.

So you get one, two, three, four shelves, then over here we’ve got one, two, three, four shelves in the fridge. And oh, we really wanted—so this is on our wish list, we didn’t get—we really like the fridges with the brushed chrome back, so that looks like a sort of premium feature that most fridge manufacturers put. So this isn’t their top, top model, but it looks nice, and nice and bright as well.

LED lighting! Look... oh, should we do a... unboxing peel? Oh, this is going to be so satisfying. Here we... go. Aha! I'm so glad you’re here to... to enjoy this with us. We’ve got door cooling, so there’s a special feature here—I’ll put that on screen now—how the Door Cooling Plus works. Multi-air flow—I don’t know what that means.

And we’ve got a bottle rack or a wine rack, which is easily removable if you wanted the extra shelf space or... I’m getting a reminder... yes, fridge, honestly, we’ll close the door soon. You change the temperatures here, so the temperatures are displayed on the inside. How do we change it? Should I try pressing fridge? There you go—you just press the right button for what you want to change, so you just keep pressing fridge and take that down to four, and same with freezer.

Now I won’t do this now, but it has Wi-Fi. It has a Wi-Fi connection—apparently. I have no idea why I would want to talk to my fridge, but we’ll see. Express cool, express freeze if you need to do a fast freeze, and you can lock these controls by just holding this for 3 seconds... there we go. So now nobody can change the temperatures until you hold the lock down for 3 seconds. There we go, it's nice, perky, perky messages.

Down here we have the fresh balancer and the fresh zone. So the fresh balancer, you can adjust by switching that over. I think it changes the humidity inside, so there’s like a little air gap, I guess. I love how the drawers come out and don’t hit the door. So, Samsung, you might want to take that out of LG’s book. This is absolutely gorgeous. So we'll close that one, and... and the bottom one doesn’t quite clear the door, but it goes to about here. You just need to open the door a bit more to get full access to that veg rack.

We had that on the last fridge, where we couldn’t open it all the way because of the door, so it’s just a design of... of fridges, I guess. Interestingly, no fridge shelf at the bottom so that you get extra space in the veg zone or the fresh zone. I don’t know what else I can show you... cuz I'm starting... I’m going to need to close that.

I think... I think I am calling this a Dad Delivers success! So after about 3 months of looking, we have finally done it—we finally found the fridge freezer of our dreams. So I hope this mini tour, this unboxing, helps you choose your features and your brand and your model of American-style fridge freezer. We've got a whole playlist of our search—that’s on screen now. And thank you for hitting the thumbs up or the subscribe button—it really helps us to keep this channel going. So thank you, and right here are all those other fridge freezer videos.

Are French Door Fridges any Good? HAIER HTF610DM7 fridge freezer review

Are French door American style side by side fridge freezers any good? We get the chance to live with this HAIER HTF610DM7 French-door American style fridge freezer for a week. It's not exactly a review, but more a chance to share what we look for in our fridges and freezers. Plus is a double door fridge even practical for our kitchen?

Are French Door Fridges any Good? HAIER HTF610DM7 fridge freezer review

Hello! Welcome back to the channel. Have you seen one of these? Are French door American fridge freezers worth it?

I was going to say "Hiya!" but this is actually a HAIER. This is the HAIER HTF610DM7 American-style fridge freezer. The difference with this fridge freezer is the doors. Sometimes these are called French American fridge freezers, and I think that’s because of these French doors. But what is it like to live with one of these—or two of these?

We’ve been living with this American French door fridge freezer for about a week now, and there are some upsides. But I’m going to run through all the reasons why we probably won’t be getting a French American fridge freezer. I know, it’s confusing, isn’t it?

Now you’re getting really intimate with us because this is... this is our holiday. This is how we live on holiday. Look, we’ve got some much-needed Creme Eggs, and, um, that’s one of our five a day. But it shows you how this fridge does stack up and how many shelves there are.

Let’s just go through the basics for this particular HAIER. There’s one, two, three, four shelves, and the fourth shelf is a glass shelf above the fruit and veg. I think there’s a difference—I don’t know the difference—but there is a dry zone and a humidity zone. One is good for fruits, and one is good for veg. Let me know in the comments which way around it’s supposed to be.

By the way, I love the huge light at the back. I’ve not seen that on any other fridge. Usually, it’s just plain white or there’s an aluminum brushed chrome panel, but this is like a flexi plastic back with a light behind it, which makes it really nice and bright.

Obviously, it says we’ve got the trilogic cooling system and Daylight Tower LED Multi Air Flow. Then, at the top, we’ve got these blue lights. It’s almost like a little emergency service thing here: Dynamic ABT. I’ll put on screen what that means, but I love how every American-style fridge freezer has, you know, these little trademark things. So, HAIER have got the ABT, and they’ve got the registered trademark for the tri-cooling system because, of course, we don’t want anyone stealing that, do we?

On the doors, we have three shelves: one, two, three. As you can see, one is big enough for a large bottle, and they’re really generous. So, the good thing with French American fridge freezers is that the shelves tend to be nice and big. Over on the other side, we’ve also got three shelves—one, two, three—in exactly the same layout.

Something we wanted in an American-style fridge freezer was to not have water cooling, to not have it plumbed in, to not have that mess, and to also not lose space in the door. So, this is a plus for us. We would love to not have a water dispenser or ice crusher. But maybe that’s your thing—maybe that is something you would want.

The capacity is really nice and generous. Let me show you how the doors work. This door works in the same way as every other French door or French American-style fridge freezer. It has this kind of flap that tucks back when you open the door. When you close the door again, there’s a guide track here, and then, when you close the door, the guide track kind of closes it. There’s a flap that opens up and locks into place, which means that when you close the other door, the fridge is completely sealed down the middle.

That also means that if you open the door on the left-hand side, you can actually open either door independently, even though there’s this thing here. But this one isn’t working so brilliantly because it does kind of sometimes stay out a little bit, and then you get that kind of clash, which isn’t pretty. When I close the door, it forces that flap through to seal it.

Something my nephew pointed out is that the temptation is to grab the middle of the door—to actually grab the bar to open it—which doesn’t work because it kind of locks. This is the second downside for us with this choice of American-style fridge freezer. I already want the handle. I want the handlebars so I can just grab a handle and open it. If you grab this bar, it doesn’t open, so you have to make sure your fingers are in the right place to open the door. I know that’s a little nitpicky, but I just want to be able to open the door, grab the thing, and close it again.

On the plus side, it isn’t one of those where you have to kind of reach under the door to open it, so that’s a good thing. The control panel is really good on this. It’s really simple, really clear, and you can see it. A lot of fridge freezers hide the control panel inside the fridge, but HAIER have chosen to put it on display, and it looks really nice. It’s a really nice color—really nice kind of dark glass look.

As with all fridge freezers, you can just... Oh, it’s kind of a cute sound, isn’t it? We’ve got two different zones for the freezers. I’ll put on screen what MyZone means. To change the temperature in the fridge, you just press these buttons. I don’t know if you can hear me over the bleeping—it’s quite tuneful, isn’t it? The same goes for the freezer.

Oh, right, so for MyZone, you can change it between freezer or fridge, so you could get a bit more fridge. I’m going to take... I don’t know if you can hear me... I’m going to take this all the way down to freezer with this particular HAIER.

Obviously, I don’t know how old this HAIER is, so it’s probably a good thing that I can show you what it’s like after years of use. It is a little bit clunky—maybe it’s because of what we’ve got in the doors—but because of that door in the middle, it does kind of clunk around just a little bit more than the other American-style fridge freezers we’ve seen.

With this HAIER American-style fridge freezer, I can’t help thinking that the French doors somehow reduce the capacity of the freezer. We’ve got the MyZone on this side, and, wow, it is really nice and cold, which is one of the things I might point out about the fridge upstairs—I’ll show you that in a minute. But we’ve got two generous baskets, and above, there’s an ice tray that pulls out. I suppose if you have this as a chiller zone rather than a frozen zone, that could be really useful. It’s mirrored on the other side, so it’s identical with the bar in the middle. I just wonder if it’s too small because of the French doors.

Here’s our biggest issue with the French door style: we didn’t realize this until we’d used it for a week. We feel like having French doors uses up energy. If I can’t remember which side I put the cheese on, I have to open one door, realize it’s not there, and then open the other door. All the cold air escapes from both sides every time.

This all probably means that, for us, we won’t be going for a French door American-style fridge freezer. It’s lovely, and it’s joyful to see all your stuff laid out and lit up. But just on a practical level, it’s not for us.

Let me know what you think in the comments. If this video is helping, thank you for hitting the thumbs up or the subscribe button—it really helps us to keep this channel going. Perfect Air Fryer TURKEY? How Ninja Foodi Max airfryer copes...

TRANSCRIPT: (CLICK PLAY ON THE VIDEO ABOVE)

THIS IS THE TRANSCRIPT - CLICK PLAY ON THE VIDEO ABOVE!
Can you cook a turkey like one of these in an air fryer, like one of these? I know, I know what you're saying, that “Why? Why don't you just do it in an oven?” I keep getting comments like that every time I make an air fryer video. But maybe you are on vacation, or on holiday, and staying somewhere... somewhere new that doesn't have an oven. Or maybe your oven's broken, and this... you're actually watching this video right now because it's an emergency. Or maybe you know that you can save energy and money by cooking in an air fryer. Or maybe you're just using the air fryer as an overflow to cook some extra turkey. Or maybe your oven's full with other delicious food. So that's why I'm trying this in an air fryer. This is an air fryer safe space, uh, this is air fryer friendly. This is the very first time I'm doing this. Here's some footage from the future. Obviously, this is hopefully just over an hour from now, where I'm hoping that this turkey looks delicious and succulent and easy to cook in my air fryer. You've got a spoiler for me there, because I have no idea how this is going to turn out. I'm using our air fryer, which is a Ninja Foodi Max, and it's 10 quarts, or 9.5L, which means each basket is 5 quarts, or 4.75L. But what about the turkey? Will it fit? This... the biggest worry, isn't it, “Will it fit into a 5 quart, or 4.75L basket?” I know you probably want to cook a whole big turkey. I don't think you can get a whole big turkey in, but, just for size, if you want to size it up, this is a small turkey crown, and this is 1.8kg, and it fits really easily into the basket. We'll do this properly in a minute. What you can do is, obviously, cut off the legs, and, if possible, remove the rib cage. We're doing this for a turkey that is... is up to 2kg, or 4.4lb, and it was a frozen turkey from the supermarket. I defrosted it, but I've also given it 30 minutes to bring the turkey to room temperature. We can just open up the bag, and I'm splashing this everywhere! I keep getting comments for my chicken videos where people say, “Wash the chicken! Wash it! Wash the bird!” I can understand why you do that, but equally, I'm going to put this into an oven at 400°F for well over an hour. I'm not quite sure how effective washing is going to be. But I'm just patting the bird down so that, uh, we're drying the skin a little. And don't forget to remove the giblets if they're still in your turkey crown. We just have this kind of pad that... that soaks up all of the liquid. And I'm also going to trim the neck. I'm trimming the excess skin from around the, uh, the neck area... area, uh, just with some scissors. Now, my amazing wife watches these videos in horror, because I don't literally show myself literally washing my hands literally after every step. But I think you... I think you're intelligent enough to know that, as soon as I've touched the bird, I... I'm going to wash my hands with soap and water. So I've got this very literal “washing my hands” sequence. This is just for my wife, just to show her that I did wash my hands at some stage. But actually, I wash my hands at every stage of this, because you do not want poultry juice going everywhere and being touched on other things. Let's grab some rosemary, and I'm going to chop up one tablespoon of rosemary. You don't need to do this, obviously, to cook your turkey, I'm just doing this to look good on camera. I'm going to make a herb butter to smear on... on the turkey. I'm not a cook, or a chef, but I just wanted to jazz this up, and make it look a bit less, uh, pale, and honestly, I think I could probably use jars of herbs, uh, from the cupboard, uh, this is all just for show for the video. And I'm making a right mess trying to strip the rosemary, but anyway, we want enough for one tablespoon, and, uh, chop it up. That goes into the bowl. The next herb is thyme, and we're going to do exactly the same with this. This one's even messier! I don't think I've even got the stalks out of this one! I should definitely have used just the jar from the... from the spice rack, but anyway, in goes the thyme. We need 3/4 of a cup of softened butter, that's 100g, and I don't have any butter, so I've got this spreadable butter from the fridge, and I think this is about 100g, so in they go. And for the turkey, I'm going to use about six or seven cloves of garlic. So I'm going to, uh, cut and peel these cloves, but I'm going to put two or three small ones into... to the herb butter. And for this I've got this tool, which is probably our favourite, and most used thing, in the kitchen. It's so underrated! It's a microplane, so it's a very fine grater, and I'll put a link to our microplane down in the description if you wanted to buy one on Amazon. I find it much easier to mash the garlic with the microplane rather than using a... a garlic crusher. It's also less messy, because it just goes through to the other side. Then you can scrape it off with a spoon straight into the bowl. I'm mashing up the herb butter with a fork. Herb is a lot easier to say than herb, isn't it? I'll do it the British way. So this is our herb butter, I'm mashing it up with a fork. I forgot to say I put in some salt and pepper. So here's some literal shots of me putting in salt and pepper. But back to the mashing of the herb butter. That's looking really good, isn't it? All you need is a fork for this one. And now it's time to dress the turkey! So I'm cutting this onion into wedges, and also a lemon. And I'm going to put these wedges actually into the bird. So I'm finding space in the cavity to just cram in the onion and lemon. And, because it's a crown, obviously it's having none of it, and they keep popping out. So just try and put in as much as possible underneath the bird. Now we can dress the outside of the turkey! I'm making these cuts with my Global knife, by the way. This Global knife, I have a link down in the description if you wanted to get one on Amazon, it's been with us for over 20 years. Love this knife! But I'm just making some cuts so that we can put some garlic actually into the turkey to flavour it. And now it's time for the herb butter. Oh my goodness! Well, you need to go your own way on this. I need to pat the turkey dry just to make sure the skin is dry to get the... the butter on. Again, I'm just using my hands to smear this all over the skin, and it's... it's quite tricky to get it on. I'm also a bit worried that the air fryer is going to really make this butter spit, so I'm going to put the bulk of it actually underneath the skin, and that hopefully will cook the... the skin, and make it all really lovely flavoured. Obviously, again, you don't need to do this, uh, just to cook your turkey in the air fryer. I'm just doing this just so it looks good and tasty. Should we have another literal shot of me washing my hands? I think I need to just, uh, for my wife's blood pressure... This is a very exciting moment! Just get the camera over here, because, uh, Ninja say that you don't need to preheat the air fryer to cook anything, but I am going to preheat this because we want to roast this bird, so I... I've got a random temperature, I'm just going to put it on for about 400° Fahrenheit, or 200° Centigrade, just to warm up that basket. So, when the bird goes in, it's just all heat, all the way, all roast! Now, this is the moment of truth! We are going to put this turkey into this basket. Again, this is 5 quart, or 4.75L. I'm leaving the tray in to help with the air circulation. What you can do, I... it's a really good tip, you can use vegetables... pretend this is a carrot. You can use chopped carrots on the bottom, or other vegetables, like the lemons, to use that to raise the bird slightly, and just to keep it from sticking on the bottom. But I'm going to keep the air circulation tray in, and I'm just going to go for it, I guess. Hope that all the lemons and onions don't fall out. It smells gorgeous already! I don't... going to touch the basket because it's really hot from where I've preheated it. And also, I'm just going to make sure that nothing is too high. You can't really see this, but this is actually protruding on the top, and I really do not want that, because... ow, ow, ow! Because it will touch the heating element, and that will burn, and give you some not good results. Oh! Before we do another literal shot of me washing my hands again... This is my favourite part of every video, because it's time to bung it in the air fryer! And, ah, I have to use both hands, 'cause it is so heavy. What I'm going to do, I'm going to put on screen the actual time that I'm going to cook the whole thing for. But just to get us started, I'm going to switch this dial to “roast”, and I'm going to dial up 350°F, that's 170°C, I'm going to set it to 1 hour 10 minutes. And if you hold down the time button, you can actually go up in quite big increments there. So I'm just going to go for “110”, and then we just hit “start”!
I'm not a food expert, or a chef, or a home economist, I'm just a dad doing this for the very first time. But what I've been told is, if you're trying to allow enough meat per person, that it should be one pound of turkey per person, which is 500g. So this bird here should feed four people, uh, I had difficulty calling my kids “people” there for a moment. Or, uh, a pound and a half if you want leftovers.
3, 2, 1, here's the big moment of reveal! How do it come out? Oh my goodness! A... I cannot believe it looks like this in just over an hour! That is absolutely incredible! Look at that!
Woah! Still... it's still a struggle to hold with one hand! I... I didn't think an hour and 10 would be enough! All the proper chefs and home economists would say, “Use a meat thermometer”, and I would say, “Use a meat thermometer”, but maybe you're somewhere where you don't have a meat thermometer, and I... I... I don't have one to... And so, what we're going to do, we're going to check that the juices run clear. So I'm going to do this with a small skewer. I'm going to go into the deepest part of the meat, I'm just going to push that all the way in. Yeah, this is too small, and actually, there's no... there's no juice running out. So I've got a feeling this is cooked in, so I'm going to use a chopstick... Yeah, and I mean this is really... that is... I think that's really cooked, so there are no juices running clear. But if you have juices, obviously, you don't want them to be pink. I'm going to use two forks to lift it out onto a chopping board. Oh look, even the... the garlic is roasted! Oh, the tray's come with it! Ah, these juices in the bottom might help with the gravy. The tray has stuck to the... to the turkey. Let's remove the tray. Oh my goodness, I am so pleased with how this has come out! But the proof is in the cutting, isn't it? Let me take the Global knife, and I'm just going to cut into the crown so that you can see how this looks. Wow! The skin is so crispy! Let's cut into this bird, and... oh my goodness! I cannot believe that this turkey has come out of the air fryer in just a little more than an hour! It's come out absolutely perfectly cooked through, there are no pink sections, and if anything, I think it might even be slightly, ever so slightly, overcooked. I think you could probably do this in an hour for a turkey crown this size. It slices so easily. The smell is indescribable! It is... smells so gorgeous. I think, because of the herbs that we added, the butter I think has also helped to seep through and make, uh, the meat more succulent. Now, the usual advice for turkey is that, once it's come out of the oven, to let it rest for half an hour to make sure that the meat is succulent and tender. It's time for the moment of truth! Time to dive in! Uh, I hate making these shots, but I've got to show you that it does actually taste as good as it looks. There's the turkey meat.
Let's give it a try. Oh! It is gorgeous! I'm not actually a big fan of turkey... turkey, but this has come out absolutely 10 times better than I thought it would! I'm calling this a “dad delivers” success! Thank you for hitting the thumbs up or the subscribe button, it really helps me to keep these videos coming. These are not beef meatballs. These beef free meatballs are made with just ground turkey. They are very low fat and they cost way lot less than ground pork or beef. I'm going to All in with this Italian style tomato ragu sauce on top of my bowl of delicious gluten free pasta.  I've gone for spaghetti rather than the other shapes but this does look like the perfect dressing for these perfect meatballs.

I'm going to go for two packs of ground turkey that's 2. 2 pounds. Now I can Just grab a small amount and I'm rolling it in the palm of my hand to form the ball. You could add some cornflour to help dry them off, mix them up in a bowl with some egg, but I'm, I'm just sticking with the turkey meat. We can make 50 meatballs.

These are all lined up now ready for going into the the airfryer. This is my my series by the way, bung it in the airfryer!   I am going to try to space them out so that they can cook evenly. We are using our ninja foodi max dual zone airfryer.  400 degrees fahrenheit that's  200 degrees celsius i reckon this will be 14 minutes in total but i'll just set the ninja air fryer running for 10 minutes these have been cooking for 10 minutes let's have a look  oh  that's looking good As you can see, I'm just shimmying them around just so that, uh, they don't get too brown on one side.

And I'm going to put 10 minutes on and I'll hit the match button so they can cook at the same time, but we are going to look at these before the 10 minutes is up.  And look at these lovely turkey meatballs! You could serve them of course with mash and chips, gravy and jam, Swedish style. Ah, but look how this let's just pause for a moment for for the beauty shots.

You could even eat them cold I guess. I'm going to put them into a rich Italian sauce. I've just knocked this together with some tomatoes, passata, Italian herbs. I think I've cut up some bell pepper.  or sweet red pepper all into the sauce and and look I've got far too many meatballs for for the sauce I am calling this a dad delivers success  look at this dish you can of course serve them with with any pasta but I love my spaghetti because it looks so yellow against the red sauce and those tender succulent air fryer meatballs

Can you cook a turkey like one of these? In an air fryer like one of these. I'm using our air fryer which is a Ninja Foodi Max and it's 10 quarts or 9.5L which means each basket is 5 quarts or 4.75 L and this is 1.8 kg and it fits really easily into the basket. I've defrosted it but I've also given it 30 minutes to bring the turkey to room temperature.

But I'm just patting the bird down so that, uh, we're drying the skin and don't forget to remove the giblets if they're still in your turkey. I'm trimming the excess skin from around the, uh, the neck area. Let's grab some rosemary. One tablespoon of rosemary. You don't need to do this, obviously, to cook your turkey. I'm just doing this to look good on camera. I'm going to make a herb butter. The next herb is thyme, and we're going to do exactly the same with this.

In goes the thyme. We need. Three quarters of a cup of softened butter, that's 100 grams. And for the turkey I'm going to use about six or seven cloves of garlic, so I'm going to, uh, cut and peel these cloves. It's a microplane, so it's a very fine grater. I'm mashing up the herb. butter with a fork. Herb is a lot easier to say than herb, isn't it?

I'll do it the British way. And now it's time to dress the turkey. So I'm cutting this onion into wedges and also a lemon, and I'm going to put these wedges actually into the bird. So I'm finding  space in the cavity to just cram in the onion and lemon. I'm making these cuts so that we can put some garlic actually into the turkey to flavour it.

I need to pat the turkey dry just to make sure the skin is dry to get the butter on again. I'm just using my hands. to smear this all over the skin. Now this is the moment of truth. We are going to put this turkey into this basket. I'm leaving the tray in to help with the air circulation. It smells gorgeous already and  I have to use both hands because it is so heavy.

Switch this dial to roast and I'm going to dial up 350 degrees Fahrenheit. That's 170 degrees centigrade. I'm going to set it to one hour, 10 minutes, and if you hold down the time button you can actually go up in quite big increments there, and then we just hit start.  Here's the big moment of reveal.

How's it come out?  Oh my goodness! We're going to check that the juices run clear. So I'm going to do this with a small skewer into the deepest part of the meat. I'm just going to push that all the way in. I think that's really cooked. I am so pleased with how this has come out, but the proof is in the cutting, isn't it?

Wow the skin is so crispy. Let's cut into this bird and oh my goodness I cannot believe that this turkey has come out of the air fryer in just a little more than an hour. It's come out absolutely perfectly cooked through. There are no pink sections. It slices so easily. The smell is indescribable. It is It smells so gorgeous, I think because of the herbs that we added.

The butter I think has also helped to seep through and make the meat more succulent. I hate making these shots but I've got to show you that it does actually taste as good as it looks. Let's just give it a try.

It's gorgeous! I'm calling this a Dad Delivers Success!  Can you please help my daddy get 10,000 subscribers? Just click on his face. Thanks! Bye!  Alright, this is gonna be the proper one, right?.

How do you cook this delicious, this is a gift from my future self, this delicious roast chicken which we have cooked in the Ninja Foodi air fryer. It looks amazing and it's, I'm hoping that it's really easy to do because I haven't done this before. The first thing we'll need is an air fryer. We've got the Ninji, the Ninji?

The Ninja Foodi air fryer. We're going to put the chicken into the basket. It just about fits. So this chicken is 4.2 lbs or 1.9 kg. Oh, it just about fits in. That is, that is really snug. I'm going to cut lemon in half. I'm going to rub this on the chicken and now this is going to go into the chicken, so in as well the other half.

And then I've got some cloves of garlic here. We're going to cut one clove and we're going to bung that in the chicken. Do you know what, I've cut my finger and the lemon and the garlic is absolutely, it's not helping my hand.  Next I'm going to add some butter to the skin. So I've got a spoon.  I'm like, I'm splashing the camera.

Show me the chicken. I'm gonna cut into the skin like that and I'm gonna put the garlic into there  and I'll put this on the other side.

And then this is the Ninja  Foodi air fryer. Ninja say you don't need to preheat it. And then we are going to put this on for 340 degrees Fahrenheit, which is 170 Celsius. We'll check how it's doing after one hour ten. And then I just hit the big bad on off button.  It's finished!  And look at that!  Let's cut into this now.

It looks that looks really Well cooked. Oh man, look at that.  It's gonna taste like chicken, right? It's  really, oh, it's really nice. Incredibly, I've had this global carving knife for, I think, 25 years. So that's 170 degrees Celsius, 340 degrees Fahrenheit, 1 hour 10 minutes on roast for this 4.2 lbs chicken, or that's 1.9 kg. I am calling this a dad delivers success. Some chicken on the lens there.

It's delicious cheese on toast, air fryer cheese on toast. This doesn't look good on camera but it tastes amazing. I'm just going to show you the cooking times and the temperatures and yeah like I say it doesn't look good but oh my god it tastes amazing. If you're looking for a delicious ninja air fryer snack this could be the very one for you.

We're slicing the cheese, well my dear wife is slicing the cheese. I'm questioning this off camera, I don't know if you can hear that, about how long How to get the best melted cheese on toast. My lovely dear wife prefers it to be sliced. I think shredded cheese melts better. This is a good opportunity for us to test which is better.

You can see my dear wife is really pleased with this outcome. We are going to do both, or rather my wife is going to do both. This is the classic cheese on toast. What do you go for? Say hi in the comments and let me know if you grate your cheese or slice your cheese. But this is what we're here for, the Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone Air Fryer.

And we are going to obviously put the cheese on toast, on toast. And you can tell my wife used to work in a hotel. Look at that absolutely perfect Eiffel Tower toast. Uh, which stops it going soggy, in case you didn't know. I think it makes it go, go cold quicker, but it does keep it dry. To best melt them, she's obviously leaving no corner of the toast untouched, and we're going to compare this now versus grated cheese.

Versus. Yes, versus grated cheese. Cheese on toast. Putting the sauce on before it melts I think is better, so it melts into the cheese. That was good. My wife thinks it's going to make it soggy, I don't. We are going to do both cheese on toast at the same time. We'll put them on airfryer and we're going to put them on at 200°C, 400°F and we're going to go for two minutes for now.

I think we're going to go for minutes in total. Now look, the grated cheese I think is melting quite well. I don't think it's distributed quite as carefully as the sliced cheese. Sliced cheese hasn't even begun to melt yet so back into the air fryer it goes. Look at that melted cheese with the Worcestershire sauce mixed in and the sliced cheese is bubbling so we think this is good to come out.

It cuts absolutely deliciously. Look at that melt. Look at it! I also, for you, tried this with some fake non dairy cheese. These are fake applewood slices and they come out absolutely perfectly. Look at that melt. Absolutely perfect. So obviously you might want it a bit more brown but I'm just going to try this now.

Ah,  perfect!

🥩 PERFECT STEAK in Air Fryer? PLUS easy Chimichurri sauce! Ninja Foodi Max airfryer recipe

TRANSCRIPT: (CLICK PLAY ON THE VIDEO ABOVE)

THIS IS THE TRANSCRIPT - CLICK PLAY ON THE VIDEO ABOVE!
I know what you're thinking, how do you cook a steak in an air fryer? I don't know, because this is the very first time I'm cooking this fillet steak in this Ninja FoodiMax dual zone air fryer, because I'm serving it on a wholesome ciabatta bread which was part baked in the Ninja air fryer, and on top of that I'm drizzling this homemade Chimichurri sauce.
But if you have no access to a pan or a barbecue, this is going to be a great experiment for the air fryer. The first thing I've done is to take it out of the fridge and I've let it rest for a few hours at room temperature. The next thing is to season the the the steak. Putting the oil on helps the seasoning to stick to the steak and it also hopefully will help it to char a little bit.
I'm going to dial up airfryer 450°F or 240°C. Do this for five minutes. Just to preheat the basket. I'm going to, later on, use a chimichurri sauce to drizzle on the steak. Start with some cilantro. We call it coriander here in the UK. Super big handful. Parsley. With this we need slightly less than the cilantro or coriander. Here's some oregano, and we need one tablespoon of oregano. Microplane. Two cloves of garlic. Next I need 1½ teaspoons of chili flakes. Next up is red wine vinegar And we will need 3 tablespoons of red wine vinegar. Only a couple of more ingredients I need salt.
Finally olive oil. We need 200ml, which is 3/4 of a cup. I think it might be best to not not crush it too finely so you've got some nice big chunks of leaf. That looks lovely. If I lay this out the steak down. It should Oh, could you hear that? 400°F or 200°C. I'm going to go for four minutes.
This is going to be good. So we're going to flip this over. Okay, flip it over and I'm going to go for another four minutes, I think. Oh, my goodness. Look at that. Absolutely stunning. Oh, Let's get it on a plate. I've got to try and get as much steak in as possible because my son's going to get what's left over.
So let's see how many slices can I cram onto this half a loaf. So here comes the chimichurri. Let's drizzle it on. I wish I could convey the bite of the, of the parsley and the cilantro or coriander, garlic and chili all mixed up. Time for the taste test. This is going to be the ultimate air fryer snack.
Oh my goodness. Absolutely. Delicious. This is the ultimate air fryer steak sandwich. Look at it.

And today we're going to cook THIS delicious KFC style southern fried chicken with a massive heap a basket full of delicious french fries. I got the southern fried chicken from the supermarket. It's 800g of chicken drumsticks and thighs. And I've also got this half bag. of crispy french fries.
Because we ate half of them already. I'm not going to put these in any particular order, I'm just going to lay them out into the air fryer basket. And for the fries I'm just going to tip them into the basket. We will shake them halfway through the cooking. to make sure that it's all crispy and I'm going to dial up air fry 200°C/400°F and I'm going to put this on for 20 minutes and then for the fries I'm going to put these on air fry at 180°C/350°F for 12 minutes.
Let's take a look and oh look it's sizzling okay I thought I might need to do this for longer but 20 minutes might be just the thing and I think I'm going to toss them. So I'm going to turn them over just so they can cook evenly. We are now about halfway through with the french fries so let's give these a shake.
They're coming along nicely. Let's see what the chicken is looking like. Oh, it's looking good. That looks, oops, I'm destroying the coating. That's gonna be a fail. Let's cut into one of the chicken breasts just to make sure it's properly cooked. Let's cut into drumsticks to make sure it's properly cooked.
Oh, oh, look at that. Oh, absolutely wonderful.
But the chicken is looking absolutely perfect. I can taste the deep South. Heaven. Absolutely delicious. I'm calling this a Dad Delivers success!
