<b>THIS IS THE TRANSCRIPT - CLICK PLAY ON THE VIDEO ABOVE!</b><br />
<div>I know the title seems a bit much but hear me out, could this be the end of YouTube shorts? Are you smiling at that thought? Shame on you. </div><div>YouTube shorts are amazing. The YouTube gurus tell us - they bring in millions of views and can get you hundreds or even thousands of subscribers but zero watch time, if you're trying to get 4,000 hours in one year to get monetized... and 0 dollars if you are monetized. </div><div> I, you could probably tell, I am not the biggest fan of YouTube shorts but I dislike the YouTube gurus gushing about them because they treat YouTube shorts like they’re mini trailers for our long form videos and they're not. </div><div>You can keep trying and now linking shorts to long form videos but they do not work like trailers because shorts are for a completely different audience. </div><div>If they work for you please say hi in the comments, let me know your experiences down below. But for me, I think YouTube shorts work brilliantly for YouTube in keeping people on the YouTube app on their phones and this is where things might be about to change.</div><div>Maybe even in a huge way and maybe for the better, if you don't like shorts! </div><div>I saw this by accident on Friday and then I just lost my weekend. </div><div>This could really change the mobile experience on the YouTube app forever but it's not available yet on my other YouTube accounts so it's only being rolled out now. You're watching this in the future, what happened next? </div><div>We can now play games on YouTube. </div><div>YouTube calls these playables and they're also available on desktop. </div><div>On the left-hand side right at the bottom of all the things that you can browse on but they're basically mobile games. </div><div>There are under 40 games available right now. </div><div>I want to show you a couple I got hooked on and then I'll show you all of them and I'll try to share why I think this could eat into YouTube shorts viewing more than anything else. </div><div>The place at the moment to find YouTube playables on the YouTube app is... if you scroll down it just offers them amongst your feed so if I keep scrolling down here we go it's about five shelves down at the moment. </div><div>You're watching this in the future they'll change this until it's right for the algorithm. </div><div>We can see here it's it's labelled quite clearly playables on YouTube instant games no downloads. I'm going to put my glasses on so I can see, let's click on view all and these are all the playables that are available at the time of recording.</div><div>I'm sure when you're watching this there will be hundreds more, but it's about 40 games at the moment, and we have two tabs. </div><div>There's a Home tab where I can continue playing. </div><div>I'm going to show you these games in a moment, and popular, uh, so it's quite a clean interface at the moment. </div><div>If I click on browse just to give you a sense of what kind of games there are, look, block drop, I'm guessing we'll look at it in a moment, but I'm thinking that's a Tetris knockoff, cut the rope, crossword, solitaire... Let me show you the game that I'm absolutely addicted to at the moment. </div><div>So I click on home and then I'll click on continue playing. Now what's interesting about this, I can't find a way of resetting it. </div><div>As you move along you get coins that you can spend on how many units that you start with, so you can click that one, or how fast that the units are produced. </div><div>I'm going to do that. I'll just give you one round just to show you the kind of games on playables at the moment. </div><div>This is State io and what you do is you drag you... you're this team down here the blue team and I'm going to drag these two up here and attack the other colour States. </div><div>So we're going for greens here and then I can join them up and attack the Reds at the top there. </div><div>And you can take over the neutral States as well so if I attack this - your number obviously needs to be bigger than the number of the states you're attacking - and as you can see I didn't have enough there so the neutral state is going to rack back up to 80 again. </div><div>What I'll do is... I'll join both States together and then I'll Attack that 60 with everything... let’s put everything I've got on onto them. </div><div>Oops I missed! </div><div>You take over state by state until you are the last colour on the map. </div><div>I'm going to attack with everything I've got - take that red! </div><div>You've won! </div><div>Now I've been I've been doing this for hours it's just... it's pure dopamine </div><div>Oh look I've got to... I've got to do it again... </div><div>This is just the purest dopamine delivery device! </div><div>Hours disappear! </div><div>If I click on the X it says “Are you sure you want to exit the game?” </div><div>I was worried that I'd lose my progress but it seems to save it in your YouTube account as you go along which is fantastic! </div><div>If we go over to playables on the YouTube desktop it can be found at youtube.com/playables - But if your account isn't enabled for this yet it will show an error message. </div><div>And like I said before, the playables is on the left-hand bar all the way down at the moment it's under podcasts... </div><div>And when we go to the homepage I can see State.IO here. </div><div>So this is the same game I'm playing, and if I click on open and then it's pretty much exactly where we left off. </div><div>And you can play in the same way so if you have a touch screen you can play the game like that or I'm using a mouse and keyboard. </div><div>I'm so addicted to this. </div><div>I've got to... I've got to stop! </div><div>I'm pretending that this is a useful video but actually it's just a chance for me to play more playables! </div><div>Take that green! </div><div>Let's get rid of the other greens here. </div><div>It's almost like a seamless experience between the mobile and the desktop apps. </div><div>The other game I have been completely glued to is words of Wonders. </div><div>It's... it's like what's that game? </div><div>Is it Boggle? </div><div>Where you've got to make words from the from the letters uh so we got pest um we've got steps... </div><div>Play along with me! </div><div>We've got pet... I've got pets... </div><div>If you get stuck like I am right now you can hit the hint button - that spends 100 gems and that's given me a “T” there well that's... that's oh how about set? </div><div>Yeah! We can also reveal a letter with this Hammer icon here. </div><div>If I tap on that 200 - I'm spending 200 gems just for you. </div><div>I can tap any tile. </div><div>Let's tap that one - oh that's not really helpful. </div><div>We've got step, how about step... oh well that's easy... sets... let's try that yay! </div><div>And then you work up through the levels and you unlock different uh buildings and it's easy to exit the game as well, just pick it up where... where you left off. </div><div>I know let's keep the games playing. </div><div>I'll just scroll through different games on the side here, you know just to up the distraction and dopamine value. </div><div>Here is why I think this is going to have a huge impact. </div><div>The first thing is I was playing on this for like 3 hours. </div><div>It was just pure unadulterated dopamine hit, before I realized there are no ads and how many times do you or your family download sus free games that drain your battery? </div><div>And do who knows what with your data? </div><div>But it's the ads that are just a killer, and of course I'm very sure YouTube will bring ads into playables, but for now it's a really weird experience playing non-stop free games with no having to wait 20 seconds all the way through.</div><div>I'm sure the ads are going to appear shortly, but for now they're not, and it's a good experience. </div><div>And then it hit me: the time that you and I are spending on playing YouTube playables will be time that we're not scrolling through YouTube shorts videos! </div><div>I'm sure YouTube shorts will cope; they'll continue. </div><div>But it does feel funny that these YouTube games will eat into that YouTube shorts watch time, in probably the same way that YouTube shorts eat into the long-form videos' watch time. </div><div>And we've seen a clear split now between the videos that you could watch on TV and the stuff that you can just scroll on your phone to kill some time. </div><div>I wonder how much watch time playables will cannibalize from YouTube shorts. </div><div>It's not going to affect creators because many of us get so little from shorts anyway. </div><div>I think my biggest objection to shorts is this: the biggest reaction you can ever get from a YouTube short is this. </div><div>It's just not the same experience as a long-form video. </div><div>And this split between just swiping on your phone or sitting down and chromecasting or streaming long-form YouTube videos on a smart TV, those two experiences are going to become even further apart now which is fascinating. </div><div>But what are you thinking? </div><div>Do you have playables yet? </div><div>Do you think this will affect anything for you as a YouTube Creator? </div><div>Are YouTube shorts working for you financially, creatively, community building-ly? </div><div>Say hi in the comments below; it would be great to hear from you. And thank you for hitting the thumbs up or the Subscribe button; it really helps me to keep this thing going. And right here is what YouTube knows you want to watch next after playing some more playables, probably.</div>

<br /><div>Hello, welcome to the channel. </div><div>I'm Neil and the new thing I'm trying to make your family happy is delete a Netflix profile using just the Netflix app on your phone for Android iPhone or iPad. </div><div>In the Netflix mobile app, when you're logged in on the lower right hand side, tap on "My Netflix". </div><div>It doesn't matter which profile you're in. </div><div>On the upper right hand corner, you can see this menu. </div><div>It has three lines or looks like a hamburger. Click on this and then click on "Manage Profiles". That brings up all the profiles with icons of pens on to edit them. Choose the profile you want to delete. Scroll down and you can see the button "Delete Profile". Don't forget you can't delete the main profile for the Netflix account. So if I go into Frank's profile there's no delete profile button. If you can't do this on the app, I've got another video down in the description where you can open the browser on your phone and sign into netflix.com to delete your Netflix profile. Congratulations, you have now deleted a profile on Netflix. I'm calling this a Dad delivers success. Say hi in the comments, it would be lovely to hear from you. And thank you for hitting the thumbs up or the Subscribe button, it really helps me out. And right here is what YouTube knows you will love watching next after watching some Netflix!</div>

<br /><div>Hello, how do you open a locked folder in Google Photos? </div><div>How do you even find a locked folder in Google Photos? </div><div>You probably know this already, but you can move photos and videos in Google Photos to a special hidden folder called locked folder, and I'll show you where to find it on a laptop, desktop, MacBook, or mobile device like Android phone, iPhone, or iPad. </div><div>Let's see how to access locked folder first with a desktop, laptop, or MacBook. </div><div>We need to go to the Google Photos website. That's photos.google.com, obviously. Check you're in the right Google account by clicking on your avatar, your face on the top right-hand corner, and on the tabs down the left-hand side, down here is locked folder. </div><div>We can't open this until we have entered our password and... we're in. Congratulations, this is our locked folder.</div><div>To move photos and videos out of locked folder, just select the photos by ticking on them, then click on the Move button at the top here, where we can also delete or download the pictures.</div><div>This is how to open the locked folder in the Google Photos app on mobile devices like this Android phone, or iPhone, or iPad. </div><div>On the Google Photos homepage, make sure you're logged into the correct Google accounts by clicking on this Avatar picture on the top right-hand side. Then, we'll need to click on the library tab, which is this button on the bottom right-hand corner. </div><div>There's a button along the top called utilities, click on that and scroll all the way down to locked folder at the bottom of the list here.</div><div>We now need to use our device security to gain access to the locked folder, and congratulations, here are all our hidden photos and videos. </div><div>If you want to move photos and videos out of the locked folder, just select them by long pressing the picture, and we have the option on the bottom here to either move or permanently delete. </div><div>Congratulations, we did it.</div><div>If this video is helping, thank you for hitting the thumbs up or the subscribe button. It really helps me to run this channel, so thank you.</div><div>And right here are even more Google Photos tips and tricks.</div><div>Can you please help my dad get to 1 million subscribers? <br /><div>How can you cook chipolata sausages, hot dogs, or Franks in an air fryer?</div><div>We're going to bring you into our family meal time because it's sausage night in our Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone air fryer, and we'll bring you along for the whole meal which involves veg... creamy mash and lashings of gravy.</div><div>I don't know what the international standard measurement of a lashing is but there's a lot of gravy involved, that's a promise.</div><div>So at the start, we've got to allocate the sausages.</div><div>It's a... a big responsibility for the family who gets what.</div><div>This is a 750g pack, that's uh 1 1/2 lb of prime pork sausages, chipolatas.</div><div>I think I'm going for four um it's always a huge responsibility because once you call the number of sausages you want you can't change them, that's the rule in our house so I think the kids are going for three each and my beautiful wife is I think going for the same.</div><div>So all in all it comes to about I think 14 sausages there which is about 400g or a pound of prime pork sausages.</div><div>One for the pot!</div><div>How many are we? Just double-check because yeah you do not want to get it wrong.</div><div>Okay one extra one for the pot.</div><div>In it goes.</div><div>Let's bung it in the air fryer!</div><div>That's it you can't you can't change your allocation.</div><div>Now for this we're going to dial up 325°F or 170°C and we're going to go for 17 minutes in total but let's let's put 15 on the clock and see how this goes.</div><div>Now while the chipolata sausages are doing their thing in the Ninja air fryer, we're doing our thing with the potatoes.</div><div>These are waxy red potatoes and uh we've put in a splash of milk and a spoon of butter.</div><div>I wish I could give you more precise uh measurements than that but it's a splash of milk bit of butter and we're just mashing the mash with the Masher.</div><div>But let's see how the chipolata sausages are getting along.</div><div>Over to the air fryer there's 5 minutes left on the clock so this is after 10 minutes and they're coming along nicely look at this so yeah they're looking they're looking Browner.</div><div>This is interesting they're Browner on the upper side and the grill side um they're looking paler but I think they're coming along nicely there.</div><div>I really like how the air fryer Cooks them more evenly.</div><div>I absolutely hate the grill.</div><div>I got a comment saying why don't you put... why don't you just put them in the grill and well the grill takes ages to warm up and it just kind of nukes the sausages on one side so I much prefer doing it this way.</div><div>Back to the hob and we're making the gravy as the uh onscreen caption declares accurately and to do this we're... we're boiling the veg so we're boiling the broccoli and the carrots and we're using the veg water for the gravy.</div><div>“Cheap Lidl gravy granules.”</div><div>And my beautiful wife is putting in gravy granules.</div><div>These are very cheap Supermarket gravy granules and yeah she's not uh beholden to the instructions on the packet of the gravy.</div><div>She's going to do this by gut instinct alone so the uh the veg water obviously is more nutritious and uh tastes a bit nicer than just doing this in boiling water and instead of going with the instructions she's she's going from uh resistance on the spoon.</div><div>Let's see if this consistency... yeah this consistency looks pretty good so it's coming together.</div><div>The gravy is a success and oh let's listen in and see what I think of it.</div><div>“Oh tastes good - salty!”</div><div>I can feel my blood pressure going through the roof as I speak but back to the ninja air fryer.</div><div>3, 2, 1... oh how do they look oh perfect wow thumbnail shot.</div><div>Sorry that’s... it's not flattering...</div><div>They look pretty good don't they.</div><div>Now I would take them out at this point what do you think leave a comment down below.</div><div>I don't actually like... I don't like sausages but I really don't like them when they're really burnt on the outside - all the way over.</div><div>I actually like them to look like sausages rather than brown pork cylinders but what do you think maybe you put these in for longer.</div><div>I know the family want these to go in for longer so in they go.</div><div>If it was me I'd eat them now can't wait because... I can't wait... but also because I like them paler.</div><div>Yeah wise words again.</div><div>So we're going to put them back in uh 325°F or 170°C for two extra minutes these two crucial minutes mean they look like this!</div><div>This is how the pork chipolatas should look according to my family and yeah I think I think they they look pretty good don't they.</div><div>They look cooked all over now uh so let's display them on a plate before we dish them out to... to the kids and I... I think they've come out really well um obviously we should get uh one of those heat meat heat thermometers but we're just doing this by eye as ever and uh we haven't injured too many people doing it that way.</div><div>They do smell absolutely delicious and they... they've come out really evenly cooked I think uh again with the grill...</div><div>With the grill I just don't think it does it this way and when you're frying them it only you know literally in a pan you only get to burn them on one side so at least ovening them does get them to cook all over.</div><div>But, how do they taste in the middle?</div><div>I think we're going to need to cut into one of these to find out: is this a dad delivers success for the sausages?</div><div>I think it's a bit unfair but this is one of my sausages: one from my allocation which are going into this... this beauty shot let's get a closeup.</div><div>That is looking absolutely perfect let’s... let's cut it on the other side so we can hold it up to the camera.</div><div>Wow yeah that is sausage Perfection.</div><div>But how does it taste?</div><div>It's time for the taste test!</div><div>So moment of Truth... time to taste it.</div><div>Ah, perfect!</div><div>It's perfect!</div><div>I'm going to add it to this.</div><div>This is how the meal looks so we're dishing it up in goes the... the creamy mash and the frozen broccoli and fresh carrots.</div><div>Everyone gets their share of the sausage, oh maybe not that one.</div><div>And it's just... it's really unfair I'm glad we put an extra one into the pot but the... the taste test sausage did come out of my dinner ration of of sausages and uh yeah I'm going to take that now while I can get it.</div><div>But this... so this looks pretty good but we haven't done the gravy yet.</div><div>Where's the gravy?</div><div>It's time for a trip to gravy town.</div><div>On it goes and I think this is a pretty good family meal. It’s... it's in our repertoire and now that we can do the sausages in the air fryer, this is the way to go. </div><div>Go on let’s... let’s... let's have a little sneak peek of how it actually went down at the dinner table though. I got my son to film this while he's eating. </div><div>Delicious! Sorry it's delicious! <b>THIS IS THE TRANSCRIPT - CLICK PLAY ON THE VIDEO ABOVE!</b><br />
<br /><div>I know what you're thinking. How do you cook a steak in an air fryer? I don't know because this is the very first time I am cooking this fillet steak in this Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone air fryer. </div><div>I'm hoping that this footage that you're seeing is obviously from future me, and I'm... I really hope that it shows the steak as delicious and medium rare. </div><div>I need it to be juicy because I'm serving it on a wholesome ciabatta bread which was part-baked, but I've also cooked this in the Ninja air fryer. And on top of that, I'm drizzling this homemade chimichurri sauce. It's an Argentinian, uh, what would you call it, a marinade? It's just a... a gorgeous green sauce that goes well with the steak. </div><div>This is the most expensive meat I can cook in the air fryer. I need it to come out tender and to be cooked through, and this is the fillet steak. It's left over from my birthday. I don't usually eat like this, but it means that it's a really super special snack that we can bung it in the air fryer! </div><div>Now usually, I would dry fry this in a pan. Thanks, got my son on camera today which will really help, but if you have no access to a pan or barbecue, this is going to be a great experiment for the air fryer. Over here, my biggest worry is the steak drying out, so I'm going to try these things to take advantage of the Ninja air fryer: the small compartments and rapid heat to make this the best air fryer steak. </div><div>This steak is super expensive. It's the best fillet steak, 170g or 6oz. It's not even a half pounder. And I know if you're watching this in the States, you think this steak is tiny. I get it. I get it. But that's how we roll here in the UK.</div><div>So, you don't have to do these things, but the... the first thing I'm... I've done is to take it out of the fridge and I've let it rest for a few hours at room temperature. </div><div>It means that it's a few degrees that the air fryer doesn't have to cook. This and it will mean that it cooks more evenly. Now, I need to get some oil, so the second thing... oh, I've... I've lost count of the numbers. Where's the oil? Oh, here it is. The next thing is to season the steak. So, I'm just going to put on a bit of oil, and we need the salt and pepper. So here we've got the Oxo Good Grips salt and pepper grinder. </div><div>If you like the look of these, I'll put a link to them down in the description. </div><div>So putting the oil on helps the seasoning to stick to the steak, and it also, hopefully, will help it to char a little bit so we get, uh, some nice charring.</div><div>The next thing, it's not essential, but I think it will help, and Ninja say if you've got a Ninja air fryer, they... you'll know that they say in the instructions that you don't need to preheat the air fryer. </div><div>But this is steak, and I really want it to sizzle, and I don't want the steak to warm up and get dry warming up. So, I want it to hit the air fryer at the right temperature. </div><div>I'm going to dial up air fry and 450° Fahrenheit or 240° Centigrade, and I'm going to do this for 5 minutes just to preheat the basket.</div><div>And while we're preheating the basket, I'm going to later on use a chimichurri sauce to drizzle on the steak. </div><div>This is how I make the chimichurri sauce. Ah, we start with some cilantro. </div><div>Uh, we call it coriander here in the UK. I'm just going to take a big super big handful. Let’s try that much. Everything else will be measured, but I'm going to just wing it with the herbs or herbs as we call them. </div><div>Parsley - with this, we need slightly less than the cilantro or coriander so it's about 2/3 as much as the coriander or cilantro and push it down. </div><div>I'm using a Bosch MaxxoMix blender, and I've got a review, a whole review, and details of where you can get that in the description down below. This next one I... I can't say it. I can't say the word oregano. I grew up calling it oregano, that's what we call it in the UK. </div><div>So, I'm trying to U.S. it up for you, I promise. So here's some oregano, and we need one tablespoon of oregano. </div><div>Wasn't he one of The Wombles? Oregano? </div><div>So it is weird that I'm being precise with all the other measurements, but it's the only way I can get an idea of what's going in. </div><div>I'm going to microplane two cloves of garlic, try and miss the middle bit, the spindle that's where the motor is going to go. </div><div>Next, I need 1 1/2 teaspoons of chili flakes. Oh, these are great as well. See if I can put these in the description. They just save me because they're all labeled. Don't if you can see the embossed cuz I'm really rubbish at the whole tablespoon teaspoon thing. Next up is red wine vinegar, and we will need three tablespoons of red wine vinegar. 1, 2, 3 in they go. </div><div>Only a couple more ingredients. I need salt, finally, olive oil. I think you're supposed to use extra virgin olive oil. You need 200ml which is 3/4 of a cup. In that goes. I'll just drizzle it around the side there. All the olive oil that's left in the house is going into this. So this has better be good. Clip on the Bosch MaxxoMix, and it's easy to get carried away by this. </div><div>I don't want to stop, but I think it might be best to not crush it too finely so you've got some nice big chunks of leaf that will go onto your steak. </div><div>I think I'm probably overdoing this, but I just love using this hand blender. </div><div>Oh, look at this, whoa, that looks lovely. I think I probably would have ground it a bit less finely, but this is how it looks. </div><div>That is going to taste gorgeous. </div><div>Tastes so good with the steak.</div><div>The basket is preheated so it's while it's hot, if you dive down have a look. If I lay the steak down it should, oh, could you hear that? </div><div>And I might, should we just sear both sides? </div><div>Let's just turn it over. Oh my goodness, this is going to be really good, isn't it? </div><div>Right, it's time to bung it in the air fryer! </div><div>We are going to dial up air fry and can you hear the urgency in my voice? 400°Fahrenheit, 200°Celsius and just to get started for one side I'm going to go for 4 minutes and hit start. This is going to be good. Look at that. Oh my goodness, oh. So, we're going to flip this over. I have a fork, okay, it's kind of stuck, but the oil has stopped it like really properly sticking. Flip it over. Now let's put it back in. Now, this is up to you for your air fryer if you want it medium or rare you'll have to gauge it so I'm going to go for air fry 400° Fahrenheit, 200° Celsius and I'm I'm going to go for another 4 minutes, I think. Let's see. Oh, while... well, while we're doing that we can get the... the bread ready. So obviously, you don't have to do this, but I'm going to go for some part-baked... part-baked? part-baked ciabatta and I'm going to take half the loaf, I think. So, we're going to use the second basket air fry and we'll go 400° Fahrenheit or 200° Celsius and I think I'm going to try 7 minutes and I'm just going to bung it in the air fryer. You don't want to do both, no? My son has just said, can't we do both and I think he's right. So, let's bung it in the air fryer. Two loaves of ciabatta, here we go. </div><div>Oh my goodness, look at that, absolutely stunning. Oh, let's get it on the plate and these will be Beauty shots. There we go, you got nice Beauty shots there. </div><div>Oh, you see the sizzle? Let's put it on the chopping board. Yeah, let's put it on the chopping board to rest. Oh, should we cut into it? </div><div>And now we're ready for the ciabatta. Yes, I had to guess it with the times, uh, yeah, I think that's perfect. It's really hot though, I'm going to cut it open and we'll just open it up and oh, the bread looks good, the bread looks ready. So now, let's put some of this steak, well, I've got to try and get as much steak in as possible cuz my son's going to get what's left over. So, let's see how many slices can I cram onto this half a loaf. </div><div>That is looking absolutely stunning. </div><div>I can't wait to eat it, but I have... I have to wait, I have to wait. Let me give you some beauty shots of how this looks if you want it just like this. This is how the steak comes straight out of the air fryer. </div><div>But we've got the Chimichurri sauce, haven't we? So here comes the Chimichurri, let's drizzle it on and ah... I wish I could convey the bite of the... of the parsley and the cilantro or coriander garlic and chilli all mixed up. </div><div>We'll just drizzle some of this on. I've probably gone a bit too overboard with the Chimichurri sauce, but I haven't got any butter on the bread so we're using the sauce to uh, to make it really uh, nice and moist. </div><div>This steak looks absolutely juicy by itself but with the sauce, I think this is going to be the real kicker.</div><div>Time for the taste test. This is going to be the ultimate air fryer snack. Let me show you what what I'm going to see as that heads towards my mouth, here we go. </div><div>Oh my goodness, it's perfect, absolutely delicious. </div><div>This is the ultimate air fryer steak sandwich. </div><div>Look at it, it's still oh, it's so warm because the bread's warm and the steak's warm, this is absolutely heaven in a bun. </div><div>I am calling this a dad delivers success! </div><div>If you want to see more of our bung it in the air fryer videos they're on screen now or down in the description thank you so much for hitting the thumbs up or the subscribe button it really helps us to put more things into the air fryer so thank you and right here is what YouTube knows you are going to love watching next. <div>hello welcome back to the channel I don't usually cover YouTube news but this article this article could mean big things for YouTube creators like you and me it's in c21 media and the headline is Youtube CEO says next Frontier is living room subscriptions </div><div>I thought I'd go through YouTube's four big bets on what's coming next by the way my name is Neil Mossey I help high achieving creators and performers just like you high five and I think YouTube's four big bets have an impact on what we do here on YouTube </div><div>let me show you the article I've got it on my uh on my phone here this is YouTube's CEO Neal Mohan fantastic name I'm not sure about the spelling but anyway YouTube's chief executive Neal Mohan says YouTube's next Frontier is the living room and subscriptions </div><div>I'll just scroll down here and it's in a a blog post </div><div>when I started at YouTube people thought about content from major Studios and content from creators is entirely different but today that Stark divide is gone viewers want everything in one place from a live sports game to the BBC and Khan Academy and Nikkietutorials </div><div>now I I thought that shout out to the BBC it it seems random but nothing's random is it with uh uh PR and comms so I wonder if that's YouTube wooing the BBC </div><div>they're watching YouTube the way we used to sit down together for traditional TV shows that's true on the big screen in the home with friends and family </div><div>now all of this comes from an official YouTube blog post let's click on the the link here </div><div>here this is YouTube's official blog</div><div>I love it when something says we're official </div><div>uh and it's a letter from the CEO a letter from the Youtube CEO four big bets for 2024 </div><div>yes it might be 2024 but blogs are still a thing they're still going! </div><div>I'll put a link to this blog down in the description </div><div>let's go through the four big bets it it's funny cuz the blog post starts with since the very first upload do you know what the first upload on YouTube was a quick pop quiz </div><div>yep it's the guy at San Diego Zoo he's still there wow 308 million views </div><div>anyway let's go back to the blog and we'll go down to the first big bet </div><div>oh just before we go to the first big bet look at this in this paragraph here let see if I can make it bigger and we've hit a new Milestone today more than 3 million channels are in the YouTube partner program</div><div>you know YouTube Partner program is where you get money from YouTube from AdSense and this figure they don't mention the figure very often the last time they mentioned this figure was 2 million creators </div><div>so 3 million creators get money for their YouTube videos </div><div>now let's just think about that for a moment because you might be trying to get monetized become monetized it feels like a mountain and it feels like hundreds of thousands of people have done it before you they have</div><div>but 3 million doesn't seem like a very big number if you consider how many billions of hours are uploaded to YouTube to think that in the entire world on the entire planet only 3 million people are getting money from YouTube for their YouTube videos it’s... it's tiny in my head 3 million is nothing compared with the number of viewers </div><div>so if you are trying to become monetized take heart that it is such a small number of people who've achieved that and done the paperwork and signed up for AdSense and been approved </div><div>I hope this helps keep you going three there are only three million channels let not even creators 3 million channels</div><div>now I've got two channels monetized so we're not even talking about 3 million people</div><div>that's incredible anyway I hope that hope that keeps you going but that's not the first big bet</div><div>the first big bet is this AI will Empower human creativity</div><div>we're approaching advances in AI with the same mission that launched YouTube years ago</div><div>we want to help everyone create </div><div>AI should Empower human creativity not replace it</div><div>everyone should have access to tools </div><div>let's think about this for a moment</div><div>that's very reassuring to hear that but I think he needs to say it because if we think about it AI can generate right now text music sound sounds and images without breaking a a sweat</div><div>my question as a Creator is surely YouTube will get to the stage where YouTube can make its own videos and tailor each one to each viewer </div><div>it's making backgrounds at the moment</div><div>when is YouTube going to start creating AI generated foregrounds</div><div>it's not such a huge leap it it does mean that YouTube would be able to not just generate one video but it could tailor through AI it could tailor a video to each and every viewer</div><div>each viewer could get a bespoke AI generated video and as a Creator obviously I can't do that but YouTube can do it </div><div>I was talking to someone this week at funnily enough at the BBC and he suggested that maybe being a Creator or an influencer isn't a long-term job </div><div>I'm not so sure that uh being being a Creator or influencer is a long-term job surely we'll get to the point where instead of offering the Right video to each viewer YouTube will have the ability to create the Right video for each viewer</div><div>let me know in the comments if you think I'm wrong </div><div>I... I think we've only got a few more years of this of you and me making videos or or maybe there'll be a middle tier created by AI</div><div>you know so instead of crafting the perfect how-to video you could just create a person that it knows that you know, enjoy watching </div><div>so maybe you want to watch someone who's female who's I don't know uh got red hair and Boston accent and maybe you want to be shown how to fix a toilet with a backdrop of Niagara Falls </div><div>but whatever's going on in the foreground can also be generated </div><div>it's nice to see in a blog that's the that YouTube respects creators and wants to create AI tools to help creators but I don't think we're that far away where AI becomes the Creator </div><div>and I I... it only hit me this week that's where I wanted to make this video so it just amused me that I hadn't even considered that</div><div>anyway YouTube's next big bet is number two </div><div>creators should be recognized as Next Generation Studios </div><div>so the YouTube Chief Executive recognizes that YouTube helps creators be entrepreneurs </div><div>I... I can't help noticing this is number two after generative Ai! </div><div>and he says we we'll help policy makers and partners across the industry see the economic and entertainment value that creators bring to the table </div><div>being a Creator is a full-time job with an international audience but most governments don't account for creators in their labor data</div><div>we believe creators should be recognized for their work and creators at the top of their game should be acknowledged in key industry forums </div><div>so uh let the creators or meat packages make inroads with the governments and uh I I guess then once that's happened then the AI can just take over I guess? </div><div>I have nothing but love and gratitude for being able to express myself here on YouTube </div><div>it's fantastic it's absolutely brilliant and that that I get paid for it as well that I get money for it is insane </div><div>we're living in really really exciting times but I can see what's what's on the horizon we can all see what's on the horizon and it’s... it's closer than we think I think that AI can just do its thing and generate so much more video than than I can </div><div>so it's not Bleak I don't I don't feel down about it I... </div><div>I feel energized by it and I'm sure there will be opportunities for people like you and me to find a niche that the machines won't just take over</div><div>this next big bet for YouTube is really interesting and if it were me obviously I'm not chief executive of uh of YouTube </div><div>If I Were I'd have rolled out the thumbnail testing by now I still haven't got that </div><div>the number three big bet I...</div><div>I would have put this at number one </div><div>YouTube's next Frontier is the living room and subscriptions </div><div>viewers want everything in one place from a live sports game to the BBC to KhanAcademy and Nikkietutorials I haven't seen Nikkietutorials I'll have a look at that and they're watching YouTube the way we used to sit down together for traditional TV shows it's I find it very very interesting that they mention the BBC here because broadcasters like BBC CBC ABC Australia they have a huge choice right now as they turn off the transmitters </div><div>you know those those transmitters we've had since the 1920s they're being turned off and every everything is... I was going to hold up a ethernet cable everything is now going to be piped to us and the big dilemma for these Legacy broadcasters is: do they jump into YouTube TV and use YouTube as a platform to broadcast what was broadcasting</div><div>thankfully not a dilemma for you and me </div><div>it's not something that us mere creators need to worry about but I've noticed this in my home </div><div>I don't know if you've you have this but we watch shows on Netflix and Prime separately and it's really rare and really difficult to find a show that actually brings us together as a family so we're all off you know my daughter's upstairs now watching sister sister on on a tablet my son's watching the phone my lovely wife is watching Bosch in the living room </div><div>with YouTube we do show YouTube videos to each other on the big TV it's uh it's it's like this weird show and tell where um my lovely wife will show me a video about you know a tiny house video or architectural digest</div><div>and um me and the kids would sit down and watch a Mr Beast video uh or a Linus Tech tips so it's really funny that we we're completely isolated from each other with Netflix and Prime but with YouTube we're we... we sample each other's videos and I don't I don't know if it's because the videos are so short compared with you know 45 minute episode of Bosch</div><div>or whether it's because that the videos are so Niche that it's actually really interesting just to have a little taste of of something else and and have that little family experience</div><div>I don't know if we're weird let me know in the comments if that's something that might be happening in your home </div><div>but there's something so specific about YouTube that means we curate in a different way to wading through all the menus on Netflix prime or or Apple TV if you're lucky to have that </div><div>my takeaway as a Creator is that I release all my videos as 4K videos to Future proof them </div><div>it's an experiment but it is very interesting to see that the big TV experience is now a focus after the total Destruction of the swiping YouTube shorts on a minuscule screen </div><div>Maybe YouTube is realizing that there is more money to be made in getting a reaction bigger than this</div><div>this is the biggest reaction to a short on on YouTube shorts is is this</div><div>this is the biggest reaction </div><div>if it's on the TV it's going to have more impact and maybe there's more money in that </div><div>let's go down to YouTube's big bet number four</div><div>protecting the Creator economy is foundational </div><div>yeah up until the point where when AI can just do it for everyone instead </div><div>it is really good to hear this as a YouTube Creator </div><div>and I don't think I'm alone I feel like YouTube can just shut me down like that instantly </div><div>YouTube can crush me like an ant</div><div>my channels can be terminated with immediate effect and with no recourse whatsoever so it is good to hear some reassurance in here that we're worth something financially to the platform at the moment </div><div>but I am very aware Eyes Wide Open that it is a machine learning platform </div><div>this data is going to be used to generate videos</div><div>why wouldn't it </div><div>and at the moment we have ai to make backgrounds</div><div>is it really a stretch to have ai make the foregrounds too and to personalize those videos for every viewer </div><div>so these are the four bets</div><div>I... I... I... I like these four bets more than a little sobering for next year and maybe the year after but what do you think you know that I love hearing from you thank you for hitting for hitting this part of the video for reaching this part of the video and thank you for hitting the thumbs up or the Subscribe button </div><div>it really helps me out and helps me to run this channel </div><div>I try out experiments here on YouTube so that you can try them on your channel and right here is what YouTube knows you are going to love watching next </div><div>I don't think AI could do that outro!</div><br /><br />

<b>THIS IS THE TRANSCRIPT - CLICK PLAY ON THE VIDEO ABOVE!</b><br />
<div>Hello, welcome back to the Happy Hut. I'm Neil, and this is a really big thing you can do to your YouTube channel, probably the biggest. </div><div>How do you transfer your YouTube channel to another Google account or Gmail? </div><div>Maybe you want to add extra owners. </div><div>This is good for safety in case anything happens to you, the owner of the YouTube channel. </div><div>So, I'm thinking about having your family be able to access your account as an owner if for any reason you can't get to the channel. </div><div>Maybe you want to do this for legacy reasons. </div><div>Maybe you want to hand the channel over to someone else. </div><div>Maybe your YouTube channel is run like a business or is part of a business or organization where many people need to access the channel to help run the YouTube activities. </div><div>Or maybe you want to do this for safety. </div><div>There are many, many high-profile cases of YouTube channels being hacked or phished or taken over. </div><div>Having your YouTube channel login from a Google account that no one can even guess gives us an extra layer of security. But how do you add another Google account as an owner of your YouTube channel? </div><div>I'm doing this for real in real time in front of you so you can follow along step by step. </div><div>And I'm sorry to say this, it is really complicated because there are two types of YouTube channel. </div><div>When you create a YouTube account for the first time, it's called a personal channel. It's linked to the Google account that created it. </div><div>Then, for the second and every other YouTube channel you create with your Google account, they are each called a brand Channel. </div><div>I have a whole video about creating a second YouTube channel here or in the link in the description, and you can move your personal channel to become a brand channel. </div><div>That video is also linked in the description. </div><div>To confuse things even further, there are two different ways of managing permissions to add people to help run your channel. </div><div>So, let's take a look at your Channel right now. Go to YouTube Studio, which is studio. YouTube.com, then click on settings, which is this tab on the left-hand side... </div><div>that opens up this window, and we can click on the permissions tab. </div><div>There's this way here to manage permissions in your brand account. </div><div>If I click on “manage permissions”, then I can click on “manage permissions” again. </div><div>This is where we can add or change owners. </div><div>So, it's on this pull-down menu here. </div><div>We can have a primary owner or a regular owner. </div><div>Or, you can manage permissions in YouTube Studio, which looks like this where we have lots and lots of different permissions that you can give. </div><div>So, to manage permissions which include the owner, your permissions window needs to look like this. But if your permissions window looks like this, you need to opt out of permissions in YouTube Studio. </div><div>That's this option here in blue to go to managing permissions in your brand account. And we need to do this to add owners. </div><div>At the moment, we can't change owners if permissions are being handled by YouTube studio. So, should I give it a try? Let's give it a try. I'll show you what it looks like. I'll click on opt out of permissions in YouTube Studio. </div><div>Everyone who has access to your channel will lose their permissions. Great. </div><div>You'll need to re-add their permissions in your brand account. Okay, well, I can do that, I think. So, we need to tick this checkbox. </div><div>“I understand I'll need to manually re-add permissions in my brand account”. </div><div>And then I'll click on opt out. </div><div>This is a big moment. There. </div><div>So now it looks like the other way of adding permissions. </div><div>It sounds really complicated. I spent hours with YouTube support to explain this to me. They were very, very, very helpful, and I'm grateful for their work. But even they found it difficult to explain. </div><div>The easy way to check is to click on the pull-down menu. </div><div>If you go into Studio, then settings, then permissions, then manage permissions, and we'll click on manage permissions again. If you can see owner or primary owner as an option, you're good to go with adding another owner to the YouTube channel or transferring the channel to another account. </div><div>If you can't find owner like here, there's no owner option amongst all these other options, you have to opt out of permissions in YouTube studio. </div><div>So, to add another owner, go to YouTube Studio, then click on settings, then permissions, then manage permissions, then click on manage permissions, the blue button. </div><div>You'll see yourself there as primary owner. Click on the people plus icon, which is invite new users, and here we can type in the Google email address of the person we want to invite as owner. </div><div>And then we can choose a role: </div><div>owner, manager, or Communications manager. </div><div>Communications managers are the same as managers but they can't use the YouTube account. So, we'll choose owner. </div><div>An account must have one primary owner. </div><div>If you want to transfer the channel to a new primary owner, first you have to make them an owner this way and then wait 7 days before you can promote them to be primary owner. </div><div>I know this is complicated, and you're watching this in the future so things will change. But there's a link down in the description to the latest YouTube help article to guide you through this. </div><div>To transfer ownership of the YouTube channel to another Gmail account or another Google account. We have added an extra owner here already, and we've waited 7 days, and now we can promote that owner to become primary owner. So, if I click on the pull-down menu, you can see the option for primary owner. I'm going to select that. </div><div>I get this warning which is “the primary owner can add, invite, or delete other owners and managers”. </div><div>They can change account permissions, including mine, and they can delete this account completely. So, I'm going to click on transfer. </div><div>Scary moment, hold me! </div><div>There we go. So, we now have a new primary owner of this account. </div><div>I've now transferred this YouTube channel to another owner as primary owner. </div><div>Oh, I find it's really hard. </div><div>So, thank you for reaching this point of the video. I hope something here helps you to transfer the ownership of your YouTube channel. And if you've reached this point, thank you for hitting the thumbs up or the Subscribe button. It really helps me to run this channel, so thank you. And right here are all my other YouTube Creator tips and tricks. </div><div>Can you please help my dad get to 1 million subscribers? </div><div>Just click on his face. Thanks, bye. Can we have dinner now?</div><div><br /></div>

<b>THIS IS THE TRANSCRIPT - CLICK PLAY ON THE VIDEO ABOVE!</b><br /><div><div>Hello, welcome back to the channel. I'm going to make your family happy with this delicious cheese on toast, air fryer cheese on toast. </div><div>This doesn't look good on camera, but it tastes amazing. </div><div>I'm just going to show you the cooking times and the temperatures. And yeah, like I said, it doesn't look good, but oh my God, it tastes amazing. If you're looking for a delicious Ninja air fryer snack, this could be the very one for you. Let's get started.</div><div>So first, we will wipe down the counters. </div><div>My dear wife is very embarrassed about how we live. This is the reality of a family kitchen. Anyway, so we've dressed the kitchen sort of, and we're slicing the cheese. Well, my dear wife is slicing the cheese. </div><div>I'm questioning this off camera. I don't know if you can hear that. There's a slight difference of opinion here about how to get the best melted cheese on toast. </div><div>My lovely dear wife prefers it to be sliced. I want it to be grated. I think that shredded cheese, you can hear us talking. I think shredded cheese melts better.</div><div>So this is a good opportunity for us to test which is better. You can see my dear wife is really pleased with this outcome. We are going to do both, or rather my wife is going to do both. </div><div>So here she is, gratefully grating the cheese. Oh no, she's actually putting her heart, soul, and blood and knuckle skin into the shredded cheese. </div><div>And this is... this is the classic cheese on toast. What do you go for? Say hi in the comments and let me know if you grate your cheese or slice your cheese. I'm getting distracted here by our very—I love our Ikea here storage boxes that we have for the cheese. But this is what we're here for, the Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone air fryer.</div><div>And we are going to obviously put the cheese on toast on toast. I actually wanted that end, but I don't want to be distracted. I want to leave it in my lovely wife's capable hands. So she's pulling out four slices. </div><div>We keep our bread in the freezer. Again, say hi in the comments, let me know how you like to keep your bread. So we've got the bread bin and the freezer. We've gone for freezer. And what we're going to do is toast the bread first.</div><div>You can, of course, cook this in the air fryer if you wanted to pre-toast your bread in the air fryer. </div><div>Maybe you don't have a toaster to hand. Maybe that's why you're watching this video, as well as having a great idea for a snack in the Ninja air fryer. </div><div>But we're toasting it in our extremely expensive Dualit toaster. We've had this a long time now, as you could probably see from the top. Maybe I should shoot it from a distance.</div><div>My daughter tried a TikTok recipe which involved melting chocolate into some toast. </div><div>Thank you, TikTok, for messing up our painfully expensive toaster. </div><div>You can see the residue on the top there from the great chocolate TikTok toast. </div><div>Not a very good idea here. Not real, honestly, YouTube shorts are better. Stick to YouTube shorts. </div><div>And now I'm going to stage the toast properly, look, popping it down again so we can capture it popping up.</div><div>And you can tell my wife used to work in a hotel. Look at that, absolutely perfect Eiffel Tower toast, which stops it going soggy. In case you didn't know, I think it makes it go cold quicker, but it does keep it dry. And it immediately goes down on the plate. </div><div>And my gorgeous wife is arranging the cheese slices to best melt them. She's obviously leaving no corner of the toast untouched. And we're going to compare this now, air fryer sliced cheese “cheese on toast” versus grated cheese versus, yes, versus grated cheese cheese on toast.</div><div>And I'm looking back at the footage now. I'm thinking maybe there isn't as much care going into the coverage. Maybe someone's a bit fed up of having to do the grated as well as the slices. But that's overtaken by our filthy air fryer! </div><div>There's too much going on right here. I'm trying to suggest that putting the Worcestershire sauce on now is the best idea. </div><div>And I thought yours was the slices. Oh, okay, go on then.</div><div>Going to make a, so I'm, well, I've asked very gently, could we have the Worcestershire sauce put on first? And I tell you why, because it soaks in better. </div><div>I know it's a healthy disagreement here, but putting the sauce on before it melts, I think is better so it melts into the cheese. </div><div>My wife thinks it's going to make it soggy. I don't. </div><div>Er... Worcestershire Sauce, by the way, is like, I don't know, it's like steak sauce. </div><div>I think it's a spicy liquid, but it does just bounce off the cheese. </div><div>I'll show you, I'll show you, I'll prove it to you. So look, this is later on in the day. </div><div>Look, I did a taste test with the Worcestershire sauce versus grated cheese. Look, not... none of it is sticking. </div><div>Not one fluid ounce of that steak sauce is going to stay on. Look, there you go, the melted cheese repels the Worcestershire sauce. </div><div>So I think I have proved conclusively that I'm right to put it on. Oh no, we got another dirty basket! </div><div>I will - it's from croissants. I will make another video showing how we cook... how we clean our Ninja Foodi air fryer. </div><div>But now it's time to dial up. This is what you're here for. It's the times and the temperatures.</div><div>We are going to do both cheese on toast at the same time. </div><div>We'll put them on air fry, and we're going to put them on at 200°C. </div><div>That's 400°F. </div><div>And we're going to go for 2 minutes for now, but I think we're going to go 4 minutes in total. </div><div>And we're going to press the match button so that they count down at the same time. </div><div>It's our bung-it-in-the-air-fryer, snacktastic cheese on toast special. After 1 minute, let's take a look. </div><div>Now, look, the grated cheese, I think, is melting quite well. I don't think it's distributed quite as carefully as the sliced cheese. </div><div>Sliced cheese hasn't even begun to melt yet, so back into the air fryer it goes. Let's see what it looks like after 2 minutes. </div><div>Let's check the grated side. </div><div>Yeah, it's going, it's going, definitely needs longer. </div><div>I reckon another 2 minutes.</div><div>So dial up air fry. If you haven't used a Ninja air fryer before, you tell it what kind of air fry, it's automatically on 400°F or 200°C. </div><div>And we're going to dial up 2 minutes on both sides. Hit match and hit start stop. </div><div>Maybe a higher temperature would help with the cheese melting. </div><div>You might want to give that a try in your experiments. </div><div>But after 3 minutes at the 400°F or 200°C, look at that melted cheese with the Worcestershire sauce mixed in, and the sliced cheese is bubbling. </div><div>So we think this is good to come out. And this - this is where I'm trying to desperately to get a thumbnail picture, which is really difficult because cheese on toast does not look good on camera. </div><div>And the sliced definitely looks better than my grated mess. Let's have a look at that. I don't think that's going to be a thumbnail. I'm still holding it up, thinking I can maybe use that. Yeah, that will help people click on it on YouTube. Maybe not. So yeah, our yellow and brown mess. But it - the smell is gorgeous. We got melted cheese, you got the hot, warm bread here. And I guess that's the best we're going to do. But I think my wife's sliced cheese has gone better.</div><div>I think she skewed the experiment slightly by ensuring good coverage of the toast there. </div><div>And what's she going to go for? </div><div>The Worcestershire sauce. Is she going to go for it? </div><div>Let's get a close-up of my snack versus her snacks always look better. </div><div>Look, even dispensing the sauce looks better on hers than mine. She's gone for the brown sauce now. </div><div>How do I explain brown sauce if you're in America or Canada? </div><div>All I can say is we just call our sauces by color or by county of England. But my wife's going for it now, going for the dip. It cuts absolutely deliciously. Look at that melt, look at it, it's absolutely perfect.</div><div>I also, for you, tried this with some fake non-dairy cheese. </div><div>These are fake Applewood slices, and they come out absolutely perfectly. </div><div>Look at that melt, absolutely perfect. </div><div>In fact, I think the fake non-dairy cheese actually melts better, and it's probably better eaten melted than the plastic consistency in which it comes. </div><div>Let's enjoy just a couple of beauty shots before the taste test. </div><div>We're toasting some more bread in the air fryer now, but I'm going to cut right into this. Oh my goodness, I think this is perfect. Show you. So obviously you might want it a bit more brown, but I'm just going to try this now. Oh perfect. I'm calling this "Dad Delivers Success." <br /><div>The WORST thing about our bathroom, is our noisy light switch. </div><div>I'm changing that with THIS QuietSwitch quiet pull cord bathroom light switch!</div><div>This first impressions review ends up with me installing the thing as our bathroom & toilet light switch. It's practically silent and now we're not woken up by people turning on the light.</div>

<br /><div>Do you want to get rid of this bathroom noise? </div><div>This is how the light switch sounds now. </div><div>Well, it doesn't sound—it's completely—well, I want to say it's silence. There is a tiny click, but it's so quiet, and that's why the makers don't call it silent; they call it quietswitch.</div><div>[Music]</div><div>Hello, welcome back to the channel. This is a big day for the family, and let me tell you why. I'm going to take you up to our bathroom. It's a bathroom video. I know they're not my best; they get the lowest views on the channel, but I've got to do this job anyway. </div><div>It's more than a job; it's a gift to the family. </div><div>Take—I'll give you a clue. This is the worst thing. Oh, hello, Casper. It's okay. It's Casper. </div><div>Look, this is the worst thing in our bathroom. </div><div>I don't know if this happens to you in your part of the world; let me know in the comments. </div><div>It's this up here. </div><div>Have a listen. </div><div>Let me demonstrate the problem for you. </div><div>Light goes on, light goes off. </div><div>Can you hear the problem? </div><div>Now it's okay at 3:00 in the afternoon; it's sort of tolerable. </div><div>But we can hear this clunk like three doors away down the street.</div><div>What if I was able to get rid of this sound? </div><div>That, I think, would be the greatest gift to your family. </div><div>I'm going to make your family happy with this. </div><div>I am going to make your family happy with this! </div><div>It's a silent bathroom pull switch. </div><div>So please let me know, is this just a UK thing? </div><div>I can't hold the camera and demonstrate it. </div><div>Can you hear that? No click. </div><div>I've got it right up against the microphone. It is silent.</div><div>So the plan is, wouldn't it be great if I didn't wake up the house when I've been editing my videos till midnight and turn the bathroom light switch on? </div><div>And the same for the family, same for the kids. </div><div>They're not the quietest bathroom visitors in the middle of the night. </div><div>They keep poor Casper up. </div><div>So... and that's when he's not barking at the naughty black cat that visits our driveway.</div><div>So I am going to try and fit this. </div><div>I got it from a website called Quiet Switch. </div><div>I think I've put a screen grab on screen now. </div><div>They've not paid me for this, but QuietSwitch, if you're watching, show some love because I think I'm going to show some love for this switch. </div><div>And I haven't even put it in yet, but I already like how it looks. </div><div>This is how it arrives out of the box. </div><div>So it comes in a small package. The shipping is very reasonable, and I thought it was a scam. </div><div>So I searched online for literally quiet or silent bathroom light switch. </div><div>I think it's actually a law in this country that you can't have light switches inside the bathroom. Obviously. You seem to have that in the United States and Canada. But we have to have either a switch on the outside, which is a complete pain, or this dangly light switch on the inside of the bathroom, which is kind of sealed so it doesn't get wet. </div><div>And the mechanism in here is totally sealed. </div><div>This is how it arrives out of the box. Really nice little package, really thoughtfully wrapped in paper. </div><div>And it's really simple; it's just a light pull switch. </div><div>In my head, I thought I would screw it on, onto the existing fitting on the wall, which would make no sense, would it? Because I have to unscrew it to rewire the power that's there to go into the silent switch. </div><div>So I'm hoping, at least, that the footprint here is the same as the current noisy light switch. </div><div>If I can at least use the holes, I'm hoping those holes will line up.</div><div>Now I'm a bit shy about doing electrical work even though it's just literally unscrewing something and screwing it back in. </div><div>I'll get all kinds of annoying but well-meaning comments telling me how I should and shouldn't be doing things. So how about we do a time jump?</div><div>So this is how it sounds before. I'm going to try and get myself in frame. This is how the switch, the light pull in the bathroom sounds “before”. </div><div>And this is how it sounds now. </div><div>Oh my goodness, there's just no comparison. </div><div>I wouldn't say it's silent. Obviously, the makers don't claim it's silent; they call it quiet. But I think that's pretty much silent. </div><div>Oh, this is the best DIY job I've done this year! </div><div>Oh my goodness, I can't tell you how much sleep we're going to get now because of this.</div><div>I did have a couple of challenges fitting— I’m going to keep doing it. </div><div>So I had one challenge, which was that the screw for the new... the Earth wire got jammed. So I had to kind of take it apart and give that a little twiddle. That was hard, but it was easy to fix. </div><div>The other thing is this. </div><div>This is worth bearing in mind because I'm sure this is a good product, but with the Cheapo super standard erm... This is like the plate that you put in the ceiling. There's a nice big hole in the middle for the cable to go through. </div><div>With this Quiet Switch, with this QuietSwitch, the mechanism is in the middle. </div><div>So there's like a really tidy hole at the edge. And so I've got to kind of orient it so the cable goes through the hole at the edge. That's the only tricky thing that's— that I'm encountering with this. </div><div>I am calling this a Dad Delivers Success! </div><div>Thank you for hitting the thumbs up or the subscribe button. It really helps me to keep this channel going, so I do appreciate it. And right here is what YouTube knows you are going to love watching next. Can you please help my daddy get 10,000 subscribers? Just click on his face. Thanks. Bye. All right, this is going to be the proper one, right?</div><div><br /></div>

<b>THIS IS THE TRANSCRIPT - CLICK PLAY ON THE VIDEO ABOVE!</b><br />
<br /><div>Hello, welcome back to the channel. </div><div>It's a very special day for my family today. </div><div>We're going to open this absolutely gorgeous, gorgeously expensive kettle. </div><div>If you don't live in the UK, you do not understand how important this appliance is—it's probably the most important electrical appliance in the home. </div><div>It's used about... how many times a day, would you say? </div><div>At least 10? </div><div>Yeah, at least 10 times a day.</div><div>This is our old kettle, it's a Bosch, and Granddad gave it to us, so we did alright there. </div><div>We've had it for... we had it before Covid, didn’t we?</div><div>So we’ve had this kettle for over 5 years now. </div><div>This is the problem: if you touch the bottom of it—don't know why, because it's plastic—so I don't know why there'd be this black gunk under the lid. </div><div>It's going out time, isn't it? This is walk time. </div><div>Anyway, look, it's just black. I just don't know where it's coming from. The other thing is, the base has probably seen better days. </div><div>Anyway, bye-bye, Bosch Kettle. This is your last boil.</div><div>I'm going to make your family happy with this brand new, stupidly expensive, top-of-the-range Dualit water kettle, the classic kettle. </div><div>And all we're going to do is unbox it because we're gagging for a cup of tea right now. </div><div>And this is a first impressions unboxing. </div><div>We bought this with our own money—well, we didn't buy it with our own money, did we? </div><div>We bought it with our John Lewis vouchers, a lot of vouchers. </div><div>This costs on Amazon in the US it costs $200. </div><div>This has better be good. Oh, by the way, I'll put a link to this down in the description if you want to take a look for yourself.</div><div>Nice packaging, and it feels really substantial. </div><div>What's nice about it is it's got a quiet mark, so it says that it's quite quiet. </div><div>And it's got two viewing windows, one window either side. </div><div>It's got this kind of silver trim at the bottom with the word " Dualit" embossed in it. </div><div>The switch—there've been a lot of comments, I've read a lot of comments about the switch. The switch is plastic. </div><div>Why would you do that? Maybe it's for insulation, I don't know—an electrical thing. </div><div>But obviously the whole kettle is metal. </div><div>I took a look at some of the kettles in Tesco earlier today, and yeah, this kettle costs about 10 times more than the basic kettles in a supermarket. </div><div>So, will we get 10 times more use out of it? </div><div>Who knows? </div><div>It's got an interesting spout. </div><div>I don't know if that's in focus. </div><div>It's got a nice lid. </div><div>Oh, okay, oh, is there a button for the lid? </div><div>No, you just—the button is you pull it up with your finger. </div><div>Let me show you inside. </div><div>This is what it looks like inside. </div><div>And there's a limescale filter at the top here, and those red tabs, they're maximum fill signs. You can see, you know if you filled it up with water too much.</div><div>Now we're really treating ourselves with this because we've used all our vouchers and I used a gift card as well. </div><div>So, we paid £5 for this, but it's worth $140 or $200. </div><div>It's to go with the Dualit toaster that we got. </div><div>That's lasted a little while, we had that before the kitchen renovation. I think I've got some footage, some archive footage of it here in the old kitchen. </div><div>And it's been through a lot, it went through a phase of my daughter getting a thing off TikTok where you cook something in chocolate, and she put chocolate toast into the Dualit. </div><div>It just about survived, so it's been through a lot. </div><div>Should we give this its first outing? Oh, we need the base, there's a base that comes with it. </div><div>And obviously, we're in the UK, so it comes with a UK plug. I'm sure there's a European or US version. And wow, this feels like an award, this is like a silver play button, but it's actually plastic. </div><div>Again, that's probably an electrical thing, isn't it? </div><div>But it looks nice and chromey. I wonder if that will last. </div><div>So it will go on like this, oh, I could boil it here. Should I boil it here, and then we can avoid all the mess in the background? Not the mess, the usual family life in the background. </div><div>And on the first boil, isn't it the first boil you're supposed to not drink it because it's got factory stuff on it? </div><div>It's my health and safety advisor behind the camera here. </div><div>Usually, you have your head in your hands when you're watching my videos when I'm cooking meat, and I've edited out all the times I wash my hands, and you're just hyperventilating while you're watching it. </div><div>Let's fill it up with... let’s fill it up with water. </div><div>Should I fill it to the top? </div><div>Okay, we've gone to max. </div><div>Anyway, just to show you the change in our lives, so I'll turn it on by pressing the on button. </div><div>Did anything? Oh, look, there's a little red light there. That's nice, isn't it? </div><div>There's some weird fibre stuck in the window there. </div><div>There's a strange fibre thing stuck between the body of the kettle and the window. </div><div>What is it? </div><div>Is it someone's hair? </div><div>No, it's a bit of plastic. </div><div>Oh, okay, </div><div>I think it would have been covering there. </div><div>Okay, maybe we get some tweezers. </div><div>Oh, I don't know how we get that out. </div><div>And obviously, I suppose this is really obvious, but with the old kettle, it was plastic, so it was kind of cool to touch, and that is red hot. </div><div>Is it? </div><div>Yeah, because it's metal. </div><div>You didn’t think about— </div><div>I didn't think that through. </div><div>Whereas the other one, you know, would feel hot but you wouldn't burn your hand on it. </div><div>Warm the room up! </div><div>Okay, I'll put—we didn't time how long that lasted, but I'll put it on the screen now how long it took to boil. </div><div>I don't even know the quantity of water I’ll put... I'll put that on the screen as well. </div><div>Ow, it's hot. </div><div>So, I'm used to touching the kettle. I didn't even think that through. </div><div>Should we do a pour test? </div><div>Did you kindly get me this mug? </div><div>Oh, thank you. Let's do a pour test. </div><div>This is what it's like. I don't know what this spout was like looking at it online. This is how it pours. </div><div>Oh, it's very elegant, isn't it? </div><div>Oh, that's good. </div><div>I thought that would be annoying, but it's strangely satisfying.</div><div>You can be really accurate with your pouring, I think, which would be good for hot water bottles. </div><div>We ruled out using those hot taps, those kettle taps where you can dispense hot boiling water. Why did we do that? I just... it just seemed like a bit of a faff.</div><div>I think it was about a grand (1000). </div><div>Oh, okay, that's why we didn't get it. </div><div>There's something fresher about using a kettle, which is why we were shocked by how the other kettle looked on the inside. </div><div>Let me read out some of the features from the box here. </div><div>This Dualit classic range kettle has a patented whisper boil, which drastically reduces unwanted boiling noise. </div><div>It has dual windows, that's a water window either side. </div><div>One side measures water in cups; the other side measures in litres. </div><div>The capacity is 1.7 litres, and it claims to be rapid boil. </div><div>It has anti-wobble feet, a precision-engineered non-drip spout, and a durable hinged lid. </div><div>The measuring windows measure in both cups and litres, and there's an ergonomic silicon grip handle. </div><div>I am calling this a Dad Delivers. Oh. </div><div>I am calling this Dad Delivers Success! </div><div>It's way too much to spend for a kettle, but treat yourself. Right here is what YouTube knows you want watch... Thank you for hitting the thumbs up or the subscribe button. </div><div>It really helps us to keep this channel going. So, thank you. </div><div>And right here is what YouTube knows you're going to love watching next after a nice cup of tea. </div><div>Oh my God, it's half past 5!</div><div><br /></div>

How do you STOP anyone from adding you to their group? I show you how to block people from adding you to WhatsApp groups without your permission. It's really easy in WhatsApp Settings but it's a bit hidden. When you stop someone from adding you to WhatsApp groups, they can only invite you instead. You can either ignore this Group Invite or join the WhatsApp group.<br />

<br /><div>Hello, welcome back to the Happy Hut. I'm Neil, and this is a big WhatsApp thing in our family. I'm making your family happy by stopping anyone adding you to groups on WhatsApp. </div><div>When our kids went to big school and they've got their phones, everyone started adding them to groups. All their new friends add, add, add, and you have no idea who's actually on these groups. </div><div>These WhatsApp groups have like 200, 300 members and contacts. </div><div>It's just wrong. </div><div>Anyone can get your phone number, and when you're on a group that you've been added to without your permission, you either have to leave the group which is announced to the admin or archive the group which hides the group but your phone number is still on there.</div><div>My phone is on screen now. This is the WhatsApp app, and we're going to block and stop anyone from adding you to a WhatsApp group. </div><div>On the top right are three dots. Click on that to bring up settings and then scroll down to this option here: privacy. </div><div>If I scroll down, there's this section here: “groups”. </div><div>Click on that. </div><div>It brings up who can add me to groups, and we have three options: everyone, your contacts, or “my contacts except”. </div><div>I'm going to choose “my contacts except”, and here we can select all the contacts we want to block from being able to add me to a group on WhatsApp. </div><div>But if we click on this hamburger tick icon with the three lines and a check mark that instantly selects ALL my contacts.</div><div>So now all my contacts are unable to just add me to a group without asking permission. </div><div>To save this setting, we need to click on the green tick in the bottom right-hand corner. </div><div>So, what happens now if somebody tries to add you to their group now that we've put this block in place? </div><div>I can show you. </div><div>I think I've put both sides on screen now. </div><div>To add somebody to a group, the admin clicks here on ADD members, and then they look me up on search: Daddy Mossey. </div><div>Then when they add me by clicking the green tick, they get this message: "Couldn't add Daddy Mossey. You can invite them privately to join this group."</div><div>So now when they click on invite to group, I get this invite message from the admin, not the group, saying "Invitation to join WhatsApp group." </div><div>It's now up to me to click on join group or just ignore it. </div><div>If I click on join group, it shows me who's in the group, and I can click on cancel down here if I want to ignore this or join group to join the WhatsApp group. </div><div>And now I appear in the admin's feed: "Daddy Mossey joined using your invite.” Congratulations! </div><div>You can now block anybody from adding you to WhatsApp groups. </div><div>I am calling this a dad delivers success! </div><div>Knocked the camera a bit there. </div><div>It would be lovely to hear from you if you say hi in the comments. </div><div>Thank you for hitting the thumbs up or the Subscribe button. It really helps me out, helps me keep this channel going, and right here is what YouTube knows you are going to love watching next. </div><div>Can you please help my daddy get 10,000 subscribers? </div><div>Just click on his face. Thanks. Bye. </div><div>Alright, this is going to be the proper one, right?</div><div><br /></div>

<br /><div>This is a video I've wanted to share for 3 months now: EVERY time I go into a supermarket I trip off the security alarms...</div><div>I know that it's probably something on me - or maybe in me - that sets them off and I've tried different combinations of not taking in my keys, wallet, car key, coat, my lucky pebble, and this time my belt (which is why my jeans are hanging low).</div><div>So what is it???</div><div><br /></div>

<br /><div>Hello, having Netflix is great, but I'm a dad, and all the I.T. in our house falls to me... even though I'm no good at it. And sometimes we need to kick someone off our Netflix account. </div><div>The new thing I'm trying to make your family happy is to delete a Netflix profile. </div><div>Don't worry; this is just a demonstration. Nothing bad has happened to Granddad; he's allowing me to delete his Netflix profile. </div><div>And my name's not Frank; it's Neil. </div><div>Hello, I just find it funny to put my dad hero Frank Spencer on all my videos. </div><div>We'll do this on a phone on the Netflix app, but just in case you can't do this on your app: </div><div>To delete a Netflix profile on a Windows PC, laptop, Mac, or MacBook, go into your internet browser, so that's Chrome, Safari, or Edge. </div><div>Go to netflix.com and sign into your account. </div><div>And this brings up our page for manage profiles. </div><div>There's a button underneath the profiles. </div><div>Click on manage profiles.</div><div>We'll do this on the Netflix phone app next, but here we can click on the pen icon on the profile you want to delete. </div><div>By the way, you cannot delete the main profile of the account. </div><div>So if we look at Frank's account, he doesn't have this option. </div><div>But over in Granddad's profile, scroll down, and there's a button at the bottom marked “delete profile”. </div><div>We can click on this and confirm to remove the Netflix profile. </div><div>In the Netflix mobile app for Android, iPhone, or iPad, when you're logged in on the lower right-hand side, tap on "My Netflix." </div><div>It doesn't matter which profile you're in. </div><div>On the upper right-hand corner, you can see this menu; it has three lines, or it looks like a hamburger. </div><div>Click on this and then click on manage profiles. </div><div>That brings up all the profiles with icons of pens on to edit them. </div><div>Choose the profile you want to delete, </div><div>scroll down, and you can see the button "Delete profile." </div><div>Don't forget; you can't delete the main profile for the Netflix account. </div><div>So if I go into Frank's profile, there's no delete profile button.</div><div>If you can't do this on the app, just open the browser on your phone and sign into netflix.com. </div><div>Congratulations, you have now deleted a profile on Netflix! </div><div>I'm calling this a Dad Delivers success! </div><div>Say hi in the comments; it would be lovely to hear from you. </div><div>And thank you for hitting the thumbs up or the subscribe button; it really helps me out. </div><div>And right here is what YouTube knows you will love watching next. </div><div>After watching some Netflix. </div><div>Can you please help my daddy get 10,000 subscribers? </div><div>Just click on his face. Thanks, bye. Alright, this is going to be the proper one, right?</div><div><br /></div>

Looking for storage inspiration ideas for your kids teen bedroom? We're trying out this IKEA RASHULT TROLLEY: it has three storage trays, and the height of the middle one is adjustable. The trolley comes with sturdy castors and this video shows how easy the assembly instructions are (they aren't!) I put this Rashult trolley together step by step in the video so you can follow along. We chose the Rashult instead of the Raskog so that it would fit under our daughter's desk. If you're looking for teen girl bedroom inspo decor ideas, or IKEA Rashult reviews you might enjoy this video!<br />

<div>Hello, welcome back to the channel. I've not done one of these in a long time, one of my Ikea dad videos. </div><div>Let's close the door because my wife and daughter are watching Gladiators next door, and I've got Casper just making a mess, and you probably hear him chomping in the background there. Today, we're opening this, the Rashult. I don't know what you call it; it's a trolley. </div><div>It's a trolley of trays, I guess. It's a storage trolley, and it's for my daughter, and it's from Ikea, so that makes this an Ikea dad video! </div><div>This is what it looks like after I've built it. </div><div>I mean, it's a really tall trolley, but it comes in a small cardboard package like this. So this was the only thing we bought in Ikea, well, apart from the meatballs and six hot dogs and two fries, but this is the only thing we managed to buy on this trip, which was very restrained, I think, and it's very strategic. </div><div>This is for my daughter's new bedroom makeover. This is one of the first things to go in there, so it won't look like this in the future, but this is just one step towards the new future for my teenage daughter. </div><div>Well, she soon to be teenage, not a teenager yet. </div><div>So let's open up. </div><div>I've got the steak knife, you know, the... all the American vloggers use, a really crazy piece of knife work. I've got... I'm not going to use the steak knife. </div><div>I'm going to use the Ikea scissors, and I've only just found out the Ikea scissors no longer exist in Ikea, so that makes these vintage scissors. So I'd better take care of them now.</div><div>So this is how the Rashult trolley arrives. </div><div>I've got the instructions. </div><div>I'm hoping this will be an easy one, but I thought I'd share this with you in case you're searching for Rashult trolley or kids' bedroom ideas or teen kids' bedroom inspo, and this is what comes in the package. </div><div>I didn't ask how much this was; I was busy queuing up for the hot dogs. </div><div>So we get three trays, there are two sizes as well. </div><div>We could have got one that's 65 cm tall and another one that was 78, I think. </div><div>But we'll speed this up, so let's start the speed build now, and I'll just talk all over it, and I'll try and point out things along the way. </div><div>Now, this is looking really straightforward because the way I think this works, this is how the instructions look, by the way, and it looks as if all we've got to do is to put these interlocking poles into one another. </div><div>So we'll just snap the poles together, well, no, you just push the poles together, and then we use a screw. I'll need my screwdriver to hold these poles in place. </div><div>And the most difficult thing is to actually find the right poles and to get them the right way round so that there is only one way that you can put these together. </div><div>So these poles slot into each other, but you've got to slot the right poles together, and it all depends on the little kink in one of the double poles that we've got here.</div><div>Now right from the get-go, I think I messed this up. </div><div>I find it really difficult; I instantly put the poles round the wrong way round, and it is... it is quite difficult to match up how they bend outwards and where the brackets at the end should go. </div><div>So I try... I put them together. </div><div>I'm not quite sure that it was right, so I take them apart again and look at the picture. </div><div>And actually, I think there is only one way that they can go because the holes on the end of one pole only match up one way round with the holes of the pole that slots inside the pole, if that makes sense. </div><div>So I just jiggle them around and stare at them a bit longer, and now I can go in with my completely wrong screwdriver. </div><div>It's a flathead screwdriver; you need a Phillips one. </div><div>And we're going to screw in these tiny, tiny... I thought they'd be big and silver, but they're tiny black kind of stud screws that just go in here to hold the poles in place. </div><div>The next step is to assemble the base, and that involves these four pieces. </div><div>The hardest part with this trolley, this Rashult trolley, is to work out which bit corresponds to which bit in the instructions. But once you have a look and manage to make the link, it seems to be okay.</div><div>So for the base, the easiest way to spot which bit goes with which is that there's only one way that the two poles can interlock. </div><div>You kind of push them together and twist them, and they stay in place. </div><div>And then we can get the two legs that we just built, and they go either side of the base locking the two base legs together. </div><div>Again, it's a pole fitting inside a pole, so it is really easy to go in once you've worked out which bit goes where and which way around. </div><div>And then we hold these in place with four screws, those tiny black screws. </div><div>I'm just putting two in on the left-hand side and two in on the right-hand side just to keep those locked together. </div><div>This doesn't feel like the sturdiest trolley in the world. </div><div>I guess these screws are going to hold, I hope, and if they don't, I'll just screw them again, tighten them up later on. </div><div>By the way, hello. </div><div>But by the way, sorry if there's some noise in the background, but Casper's having his dinner, and he's having trouble... he's having trouble keeping the bowl in the thing that holds the bowl in place. </div><div>So he's kind of taken the bowl for a walk around the kitchen. </div><div>It's rice and peas and beef and biscuits, one of his specialties, and he is evenly distributing it across the floor and his ears and anywhere else it will go. </div><div>I should put the bowl back into the silicone holder, really, but he seems to be getting some extra exercise from it, so we might as well leave him to do his thing.</div><div>It's going to take even more shape now; it's going to get noisy because we are going to put the trays into the frame. </div><div>But the instructions say they've got to go a particular way, a particular way round. </div><div>I'm going to do it because it's like a crease or a fold on the side of the trays. </div><div>So I'm going to have all of those on the same side, and the idea of it is, I think the bottom one will be locked, the top one will be locked, and the middle one is adjustable using these clips that kind of hold them in place. </div><div>So the first thing we're going to do is slide this one over, get it down to the bottom, and we need two of these plates on either side.</div><div>They... they all look like identical. </div><div>So I get two here and two there, and then they are held in place by these bolts. </div><div>I put one here and one inside the tray. </div><div>Then we've got to get all the holes to line up, so I put this into the bracket; it's got a square bit on it to hold it in place. </div><div>I'll push that in. </div><div>I've really got the Gladiators theme in my head; I really want to sing it or play it to you, but I don't want to get a copyright strike, so you have to imagine the British Gladiators theme, the '90s version. </div><div>Tell you what, I'll recite it to you while I'm assembling the brackets on the trays. </div><div>"Do you feel the power of the Gladiators? Can you face the challenge of the Champions? </div><div>Do you have the courage of a hero? </div><div>Do you have the will and the skill?" </div><div>Okay, so I got it wrong, ignore the last bit. </div><div>Basically, there's only one on each side, there's one bracket here and one bracket here, and the bolt goes through, and there's like a nut that holds it on the other side. </div><div>And now we get to tighten the nut; they very generously given us two spanners. </div><div>I suppose that's just assuming that someone will be here to help you or maybe they think you're going to snap it or something. </div><div>And then the bolt is held in place by the square hole, so all we have to do is just tighten the bolts with the provided wrench, and we can tighten this nut. </div><div>I always go too far with this and over-tighten and end up wrecking the thing, but I'll still do it with this one, so we'll just tighten these bolts.</div><div>The next part of the instructions kind of gone a bit crazy now because it's suggesting we can put it on its side. </div><div>Don't forget to put the middle tray down; otherwise, we won't be able to get it in. </div><div>And I'm trying to do it so that the folds are all on one side, so just guide this in, and it does advise don't put the trays into each other because I think it would just scratch the paintwork, so I think that's why they're advising doing this on its side so this doesn't get scratched into the bottom tray. </div><div>And now we can put the brackets on this top tray; let's speed this up. </div><div>So I don't know it yet, but I'm doing this completely wrong, and I'll tell you why in a moment, but let's just enjoy for a moment this speeded-up footage of me turning a bolt round and round and round, wondering why it's not locking but still turning it anyway. </div><div>There's something really wrong with this bolt on one side; the other one goes in, and it goes in really easily and really well. </div><div>So I'm thinking, well, maybe that holds it in place, and I just can't work out. </div><div>So I'm squeezing harder between the poles and the tray just to make the trolley bolt together, and it's not... it's just spinning around. </div><div>And I think it took me far too long to work out why. </div><div>Oh, I've done it [Laughter] wrong, okay, so it could not be clearer, and I've managed to screw it up. </div><div>I've completely forgotten to put the brackets. </div><div>If I can zoom in on the edit, I'm twisting this thing, and the bolt's going round and round and round, and I'm thinking, but it should be held in place. </div><div>Well, it would be if I'd put the bracket on that you're supposed to do. </div><div>Why is it so hard? </div><div>So now I've got to take the bolt off... it comes off really easily. </div><div>So this goes through the bracket, which would be really obvious. </div><div>I don't know why I missed that. </div><div>That's really—I think it's because it's on its side; it broke my flow. </div><div>Let me give you a closer look of what this bolt situation is like. </div><div>They give you a wrench that fits exactly, but you have to kind of lock it over the bolt each time to give it a twist. </div><div>And this is really giving me an arm exercise and a half. </div><div>But all we need to do is to keep turning this bolt with the brackets on the other side, and eventually, it holds the top tray in place.</div><div>This is the creative part; we get to choose where this middle tray goes. </div><div>You can choose... it can go wherever you want because the bracket can hopefully hold it in place. </div><div>So if you want some like tall bottles at the bottom, you can put it higher up, and if you want it—I'm going to have it pretty much equal just so it looks nice. </div><div>You can configure it how you want, go crazy with the middle shelf. </div><div>This bit is way too tough; it's a lot harder than I think because the poles are held apart by the top tray and the bottom tray; it's really difficult to get the bolt through and meet the nut in the middle. </div><div>There's no give in it at all. </div><div>I'm using all my strength to hold the bolt and actually push it through the hole far enough to get a thread through so I can get the nut on. </div><div>I think it might be easier to go against the instructions and do the middle one first, and that way, you've got a bit more play at the top. </div><div>But doing it in the middle means that the middle poles are fixed, so it's really difficult to squeeze through the bolt and get it to latch and hold the thing in place. </div><div>Dammit! </div><div>What I'm going to try now is I'm going to have to take the top tray off, and I'll try and put the middle tray on first and see if that works. </div><div>It is really energy-zapping to have to undo your work, and I end up doing this every time I put something together with Ikea. </div><div>Maybe it's just my brain; maybe I'm unable to follow the instructions correctly. </div><div>But every time, I have to undo the work to get the work done. </div><div>If you face this with your Ikea Adventures, say hi in the comments below because I'm sure I'm the only one who has to do it, and then completely undo it to do it back up again. </div><div>And I'm also dropping the bolts all over the floor. </div><div>It’s at this point of the build that just sucks, and I just want to finish it. My family wants to eat their dinner, but I've got this all over the dinner table, so I've got to get this done. I've got to get it done. Oh, Casper, what's up?</div><div>[DOG BARKS]</div><div>What, it's pretty that naughty Black Cat from up the street, probably outside. </div><div>He can sense it. </div><div>Mind you, he goes nuts when we open the Loft so, oh no, what! </div><div>Okay, so the—sorry about the noise in the background. </div><div>But I would say definitely do the middle one first and do it loosely, and then do the top one to hold it in place. </div><div>The only problem with it is that it does—it will scratch the paintwork. </div><div>If you're too rough with it, so I'm just going to do it this way. </div><div>And now the slightly more fun part of... because I’m getting a bit grumpy.</div><div>The slightly more fun part of screwing on or bolting on the four caster wheels. </div><div>These wheels look really good; I think they look really substantial. They feel substantial; I mean, they don't have to take much weight</div><div>These wheels look really good; I think they look really substantial. </div><div>They feel substantial; I mean, they don't have to take much weight because of the flimsy trays. </div><div>But my tip with this is to use the nut that's closest to the wheel as the one to turn. </div><div>So there's another loose nut on the caster so you could adjust the height of the wheels if you wanted to by about a centimetre or half an inch. </div><div>But I'm screwing the nut all the way down tightly so that the whole wheel can just twist into place, and there won't be any height adjustments. </div><div>It will hopefully be as tight as possible on the base of this Ikea Rashult trolley. </div><div>This is what Ikea says about the Rashult trolley:</div><div>"The sturdy construction and casters make it easy for you to move the trolley and use it wherever you like. It even fits in tight spaces because of its small size. The trolley is easy to adapt to suit what you want to store in it because the middle shelf is adjustable.” </div><div>It's got lots of storage capacity in it, and I suppose being able to move the middle shelf might be useful if you've got some bigger things than others. It fits in quite well; we're going to try and put this under the desk, so it'll be kind of like under-desk storage. </div><div>And because of the four caster wheels, she'll be able to pull it out whenever she wants and tuck it under, hopefully out of the way. </div><div>You can get the Rashult in these different colours; we went for the cream one because this will be the look for the new bedroom renovation. </div><div>This isn't it yet; this is just the—I've got to emphasize this is just the first step in the transformation for my teen daughter's bedroom. </div><div>And thank you for hitting the thumbs up button or the Subscribe button; you'll be able to follow our journey. I really appreciate it; it really helps us to keep this channel going, so thank you. </div><div>And right here is what YouTube knows you want to watch next, maybe some more Ikea dad stuff. </div><div>Can you please help my daddy get 10,000 subscribers? </div><div>Just click on his face; thanks, bye. Alright, this is going to be the proper one, right?</div><div><br /></div>

<b>THIS IS THE TRANSCRIPT - CLICK PLAY ON THE VIDEO ABOVE!</b><br />
<br /><div>Hello and welcome back to the Dad Delivers Vlog, the new thing I'm making your family happy: Look at these lovely meatballs, but there's a surprise, a twist. </div><div>These are not beef meatballs; these beef-free meatballs are made with just ground turkey. </div><div>They are very low fat and they cost way less than ground pork or beef. </div><div>You can have them with jam gravy and fries IKEA style, or I'm going all in with this Italian style tomato Ragu Sauce on top of my bowl of delicious gluten-free pasta. </div><div>Oh, I've gone for spaghetti rather than the other shapes, but this does look like the perfect dressing for these perfect meatballs. </div><div>I cannot wait to get these turkey meatballs into the air fryer, our ninja foodi Max dual Zone air fryer. This footage is, of course, from Lucky future me. </div><div>Let's rewind and get started from the beginning, and you can follow along and make your delicious meatballs too.</div><div>And for this, I am using not just one pack of ground turkey; I'm going to go for two packs of ground turkey. </div><div>They are 500G of turkey mince; we call it mince here in the UK; that's 2.2 lb of ground turkey, and they are 7% fat. </div><div>So they are a really low-fat meat to choose for these meatballs, and you don't have to do this, but just to make it easier on myself, I'm cutting them up just so that I can grab a small amount of ground turkey. </div><div>Now I can just grab a small amount of ground turkey, and I'm rolling it in the palm of my hand to form the ball. </div><div>Now these meatballs, you can make them any shape you want, obviously, but I've gone for meatballs that are about an inch high, that's about 5 cm for each meatball. </div><div>And I've not added anything to the turkey; you could add some cornflour to help dry them off or even some egg - mix them up in a bowl with some egg, but I'm sticking with the turkey meat. </div><div>I have confidence in this, and I'm rolling them into my 1-inch meatballs, 5 cm meatballs. </div><div>It's really easy to handle this meat, the turkey meat. </div><div>I find it a lot easier than rolling beef meatballs. </div><div>And obviously, I don't need to say this, do I? But I have got clean hands; I have washed before and after. </div><div>But I'm just rolling them in the palm of my hand, and I'm just kind of estimating the size. I'm trying to keep the size consistent. </div><div>I'm using two packs of ground turkey, but of course, you could have just the one pack, the one pound of ground turkey or 500G of lean turkey mince. </div><div>The cooking times will be the same because I'm going to split them into the two baskets, the two trays, the two zones of the Dual Zone ninja foodi Max Air fryer. </div><div>But we'll also be able to store these meatballs for another meal, maybe freeze them or put them into another meal and freeze that meal ready for another time.</div><div>This amount of ground turkey does lead to, I hope you can, you're counting along with me, but it means that we can make 50 meatballs. </div><div>It comes out around almost exactly 50 meatballs for our meal. </div><div>These are all lined up now, ready for going into the air fryer. </div><div>This is my series, by the way, bung it in the air fryer, but not quite yet. </div><div>Let's get the trays from the ninja air fryer, and I'm just putting them into the tray. </div><div>I mean, I've piled up things into the air fryer, and it's managed to cope with them and cook them. </div><div>But with this one, I am going to try to space them out so that they can cook evenly, and we're going to see if we can get one pack of turkey into one tray and then split them. </div><div>So we'll get 25 meatballs into this basket. </div><div>[MUSIC]</div><div>Just tuck them in and arrange them around, and then I'll get the second tray. </div><div>I'm just hoping that I can get all of these in, and this, of course, is the fun part, the best part of the process. </div><div>It's time for us to bung it in the air fryer! </div><div>And for this, we are using our ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone air fryer. </div><div>All we need to do is turn it on, and I'm going to set the temperature to 400°F; that's 200°C, and it says on-screen 14 minutes because I reckon this will be 14 minutes in total. </div><div>But I'll just set the ninja air fryer running for 10 minutes, and we'll see how well done the meatballs are. </div><div>We can just check on them along the way. </div><div>I have pressed the match button, which means that both baskets cook for the same amount of time at the same time.</div><div>These have been cooking for 10 minutes; let's have a look. </div><div>Oh, that's looking good, and this should look the same. Oh man, look at that. </div><div>So what I'm going to do is give them a shake. </div><div>Might need tongs for this; here we go with the Wyclef Jean silicone tongs. </div><div>I'll put a link in the description; you can get them on Amazon. </div><div>But as you can see, I'm just shimmying them around and giving them a shake just so that they don't get too brown on one side. </div><div>And obviously, we'll do the same for the other basket. </div><div>But oh, look how good they look already. </div><div>This is with no oil; this is just with the meatballs placed on the ninja foodi Max Air fryer tray. </div><div>And I'm going to dial up; we'll go to air fry again 400°F, 200°C, and I'm going to put 10 minutes on. And I'll hit the match button so they can cook at the same time, but we are going to look at these before the 10 minutes is up. </div><div>Okay, I'm pausing it here and look at these lovely turkey meatballs. </div><div>These are looking absolutely scrumptious. </div><div>Oh, I just want to eat them right now. </div><div>And you can! You could serve them, of course, with mash and chips, gravy, and jam Swedish style. </div><div>But look how, let's just pause for a moment for the beauty shots. </div><div>These are good to eat right now; you could even eat them cold, I guess. I wouldn't want to, but they would make a tasty snack. </div><div>And I think this is going into my Air fryer snacks playlist; there's a link to that in the description. </div><div>These are lean as anything, so I'd go so far as calling these healthy meatballs, healthy.</div><div>And just to demonstrate how good these air fryer meatballs are, I'm going to put them into a rich Italian sauce. </div><div>I've just knocked this together with some tomatoes, passata, Italian herbs, or herbs. And I think I've cut up so bell pepper or sweet red pepper all into the sauce. </div><div>And look, I've got far too many meatballs for the sauce. I'm going to try and get as many meatballs in as possible. But this is great because it also just makes them a bit more succulent as well to have them in a sauce. I prefer them in a sauce, I think, but they do taste great by themselves. </div><div>Look, now, of course, some are left over, and I think I will freeze these; we put them in a box and eat them tomorrow, very probably. </div><div>I am calling this a dad delivers success! </div><div>Look at this dish; I've brought out my gluten free spaghetti. </div><div>You can, of course, serve them with any pasta, but I love my spaghetti because it looks so yellow against the red sauce and those tender succulent air fryer meatballs. </div><div>Oh, man, the restraint I need to show while filming these beauty shots is too much. I can't cope. </div><div>Thanks for saying hi in the comments; it's always great to hear from you. </div><div>And thank you for being awesome by hitting the thumbs up or the subscribe button; it really helps me to keep this channel going. But it also keeps you up to date with the latest things coming out of our air fryer, talking of which right here are all our air fryer recipes and snacks if you fancy trying something else after the air fryer meatballs!</div><div><br /></div><br />

<div>How do you turn off that annoying thing where Google reads out the result every time I Google search on my phone? </div><div>Hello, I’m Neil and this is bugging me.</div><div>[GOOGLE VOICE:] Sure, I love chatting. I also love animal facts.</div><div>If you want the whole Google Assistant thing turned off from your phone, so no speech or voice will come up, go into your Google app, and then click on the avatar on the top right-hand side.</div><div>And then we'll click on settings. </div><div>Then scroll down to the Google Assistant section and click on that. </div><div>Now scroll down to the section labelled 'General' - there's a cog icon there - and click on that. </div><div>And there's Google Assistant.</div><div>There's a toggle switch here that means we can turn it on or off by pressing that blue button.</div><div>And just to show how much Google cares about us, it gives us this warning.</div><div>If you want to go ahead, click 'Turn off.' </div><div>Bye-bye, Google Assistant!</div><div>[GOOGLE VOICE:] I love chatting with you. </div><div>Thanks for being awesome by hitting the thumbs up or subscribe button. </div><div>I really appreciate it, and it helps others to find this video. And right here is what YouTube knows that you will love watching next.</div><div>[GOOGLE VOICE:] They say it's politest to stick to two subjects: the weather and people's health, right?"</div>

<br />
<b>THIS IS THE TRANSCRIPT - CLICK PLAY ON THE VIDEO ABOVE!</b><br />
<br /><div>Hello, did you know that you can translate your precious YouTube videos into any language, pretty much automatically? </div><div>People around the world can use auto-translate to get captions in their own preferred language, and a lot of these show up in my viewing figures and analytics. </div><div>But we can actually translate the video for them and the title and the description. </div><div>This is something I've been experimenting with. </div><div>I don't know if this leads to more views or more of the right views or how it even affects my viewing durations. </div><div>I just think if I can make my YouTube video more easily available, then once more people around the world get to see it, that's more views, surely. </div><div>And surely, that's a good thing?</div><div>Maybe you want to translate your YouTube video into one language. </div><div>Here's how you do it. </div><div>You can follow along with me step by step, but just to show you how easy this is, I am going to translate this YouTube video into 10 languages in under 10 minutes. </div><div>Okay, challenge accepted. </div><div>Before we start, let me show you where we are doing this. </div><div>Go into studio.youtube.com, go into the video you want to translate, just click on the pen icon here to edit it.</div><div>I'm translating this video 'how to make a Google account.' </div><div>We'll click on 'subtitles' on the tab on the left-hand side here, and that opens up this menu. </div><div>Hopefully, YouTube has already made automatic subtitles for your video. </div><div>If it hasn't, you're really unlucky. </div><div>But if the audio is poor or if it detects a couple of languages, it sometimes doesn't work. The auto-generated captions are usually really good and accurate, but sometimes it's wrong. </div><div>Sometimes it puts blanks in where it thinks there are swear words, even if there are no swear words, which doesn't help search. </div><div>It spells my name wrong and brand names wrong, which also doesn't help search. </div><div>And there's no punctuation, so I edited them. </div><div>It's really easy. I just copied the text, and I told Chat GPT to punctuate it. </div><div>Or you can do that yourself, and I corrected it. </div><div>When you hit save, it creates this set of English subtitles. </div><div>I'm using THIS to create my foreign language translations, but you can use the automatic captions if you want.</div><div>The only other thing we need to get ready is to open another window and go to translate.google.com, and we'll use this for the title and description. </div><div>Are you ready? </div><div>Let's start the clock. </div><div>The first thing I need to do is hit 'add language,' and these are all the languages they have. </div><div>They even have—is it here? Klingon! Yeah, they have Klingon from Star Trek. </div><div>I don't know if I've understood that correctly. </div><div>I'm going to go for something a bit more obvious first. </div><div>Let's go for French, and I'm going to go just for the plain French, not the different flavoured French there. </div><div>So I hit 'add,' and then all I need to do—I'm going to do this 10 times—is hit 'auto translate.' And can you see, it has already instantly translated it into French, and you can see the original English subtitle above each one, so if you wanted to change it or check it or tweak it, if you know the language, that's really useful. </div><div>All the timings are there. </div><div>All I need to do is hit 'publish,' and it's done.</div><div>Now, we need to translate the title and description, and this is really straightforward because my English title is on the left-hand side, so I'd copy that. </div><div>So, select it, and then I'll hit 'control C' or 'command C,' and then on Google translate, on the right-hand side, I will try and find French on the list here, and then I'll paste my English here. </div><div>But I'm going to put the title and the description together so it translates it in one go. And then, we'll paste it over in the two separate ways. </div><div>So, I'll go back to my description, and I'll just hit 'command A' or 'control A' to select all, then 'control C' or 'command C,' and go back to Google Translate, and then I will paste it underneath the title so that means it's going to translate it all in one chunk. </div><div>And then, at the bottom here, it's done it instantly. </div><div>I hit the copy button, copy translation, go back to the YouTube page, and then I'll paste it in the description. </div><div>And then obviously, we've got the title at the top here, so I'll delete that, cut it, and paste it up here in title. </div><div>And it's got... something's wrong, that's because there's a return key in there. </div><div>So, I'll delete that so it's all on one line, and then I'll hit 'publish.' </div><div>That's one language done. That was pretty fast because I was explaining it. Let's do the next one quicker.</div><div>We'll go for German. </div><div>So, I'll scroll down to German, and then I'll hit the 'add' button, hit 'auto translate,' it's done, hit 'publish.' </div><div>Oh, I wait for it to save. </div><div>And then over in Google Translate, I've already got the title and the description so I can now put in German. </div><div>Instead of looking for it on the list, I'm going to type in German, and there it is. And now I can hit the copy button, and then I'll paste it into the title and the description. </div><div>So, I’ll paste it into the description, find the title, cut that so it's all nice and tidy, and then I'll paste it in the title and click 'publish.' </div><div>That's two languages. </div><div>I did that in one minute. </div><div>Let's see if we can go faster.</div><div>Spanish. </div><div>Let’s find... 'SP.' I can type in 'Sp' for Spanish. </div><div>That jumps me to it. </div><div>Hit 'add,' then 'auto translate.' </div><div>I'm going to get quicker each time. </div><div>Hit 'publish.' </div><div>And then we'll add the title and description. </div><div>Go back to Google Translate, change the language to Spanish, type in Spanish, and then hit 'copy</div><div>And then paste. </div><div>And then I will just move the... copy over the title and then hit 'publish.' </div><div>I think that was probably a bit slower. </div><div>Let's go quicker.</div><div>Portuguese. P-O-R, and then I'll hit 'add,' 'auto translate,' publish. </div><div>You can see how quickly you can translate these things. </div><div>And then I'll hit 'add,' go back to Google Translate, change this to Portuguese, and then copy. </div><div>Go back to the YouTube video, paste, and then cut the title out and paste it in the title box. </div><div>Next one I'll do is Italian. </div><div>These, I mean, I've just chosen these languages randomly. </div><div>Hit 'auto translate,' publish.</div><div>And then title and description. </div><div>Now, look, I know that Google's translation probably might be dodgy in places. </div><div>It won't be perfect. </div><div>It won't be the same as getting a human translator to get all the nuances. There'll be misunderstandings in there. </div><div>But generally, I'm hoping that putting the subtitles in will be better than not having the subtitles. </div><div>Let's go for Japanese. </div><div>Hey, put it in the description, put in what languages you would put in, especially if I miss any. </div><div>Let's have a shout out for your favourite language. </div><div>Japanese. Now look at this. It does Japanese. </div><div>Look at that. </div><div>Publish. </div><div>Sorry, I'm against the clock, and then I'll go title and description. </div><div>Change the language here to Japanese, hit 'copy,' and then paste. </div><div>Now it's a good job that I've got an exclamation mark there because I know that's the title. I don't even know if there are exclamation marks in the Japanese language, so forgive me if I'm creating any faux pas or any international incidents. It really is inadvertent. </div><div>So, we'll go for Korean now. Korean is a beautiful language, isn't it? Visually beautiful. </div><div>I really, really like the look of Korean. And then we'll go to Google Translate, choose Korean from the list.</div><div>Now, look, I've put in a couple of edits. </div><div>It's not for time. </div><div>They were just where I messed up the window. </div><div>And I'll cut that and paste it there, hit 'publish.' </div><div>And then let's go for what should we go for next? </div><div>Arabic. </div><div>Add language. Arabic. Add subtitles. </div><div>This is a pretty language as well, isn't it? I wish I could write Arabic. </div><div>I hit 'publish.' And then we can go to Google Translate. Don't need to wait for it, just go Arabic. Hit 'copy,' and then hit 'edit title and description.' </div><div>Now, obviously, sometimes it will leave your hashtags intact, and other times it will actually translate them into the language, oh I hit the wrong one there. </div><div>I don't want Chinese Singapore. </div><div>I was going for Danish. </div><div>That's completely the wrong continent. </div><div>Should we just do it anyway? Let's just do it anyway. Auto translate. Hello, Singapore! You've got a translation as well. You've got a translation! You've got a translation! </div><div>Will it be on here, though? </div><div>Chinese Singapore. </div><div>Should we have a look? Chinese. Oh no, it's just got 'CH.' </div><div>Let's go Chinese (simplified). </div><div>Copy and paste. </div><div>And then paste. </div><div>Publish.</div><div>I don't know if you can see, I'll just pause the timer. </div><div>Uh, there was some missing even though we did them, and it's just a little glitch. </div><div>It has actually done. Look, they've reappeared. </div><div>They've reappeared. So, don't worry if they disappear because they do tend to reappear. </div><div>Let's go for the final two. </div><div>Go for Danish and auto translate. Publish. </div><div>And then go to Google Translate, change this pull-down menu here, type in Danish, and we can copy-paste-paste-paste. <br /><div>[Music]</div><div>How do you create a brand new Google account using just your phone?</div><div>Maybe you want to have it for a new gmail address or YouTube channel...</div><div>I'm making a Google account that's just for my photos and videos for the Google photos app.</div><div>It's really easy, so let's make a Google account right here right now.</div><div>Step One is open the Chrome browser, if you have an Android phone, and then we'll open a new incognito tab. </div><div>Just click on the three dots on the top right hand corner and choose new incognito tab. </div><div>If you have an iPhone, just open Safari and choose "new private tab". </div><div>The reason we're doing this is to avoid being signed into Google already so that we can create a new clean account.</div><div>And now we can go to google.com </div><div>I'll just scroll down and accept the terms and conditions. </div><div>Next we'll click on this button on the top right hand corner "sign in". </div><div>And obviously we haven't created an account yet so at the bottom of the page here it says create account, I'll click on that.</div><div>This page now asks us if we want the Google account for personal use, for my child or for work or my business. </div><div>If you choose for my child, it will try to attach that to a parent Google account. </div><div>I'm going to avoid that.</div><div>I'm actually going to go for "work or my business".</div><div>I don't think there's that much difference between that and a personal account, it's just how Google chooses to collect data on the account. </div><div>Now we can enter our name, and now we can enter our birthday and gender. </div><div>Google Now offers us a couple of options for a Gmail name, or we can choose to create a new name for our Google account.</div><div>Now it's time to create a password for this new Google account.</div><div>Now Google wants to check that we're not a robot so they'll send a a verification code, and now we need to enter a recovery email address. </div><div>The next screen invites us to choose our settings for this account. </div><div>I'm going to choose express I think and now we can accept the terms and conditions and it looks like it's a success!</div><div>Your Google account is ready! </div><div>Now because we've set it up for business it has some additional questions: I'll hit "not now" </div><div>We are now good to go with our brand new Google account. </div><div>Congratulations and let me know in the comments if this works for you. Thank you for your thumbs up or hitting the Subscribe button it really helps me out.</div>
