Hello, I'm Neil. Welcome back to the channel. Quick question: What is the best microSD card, or how do you put a memory card into an Osmo Pocket 3, the DJI Pocket 3? That's the microSD card slot. That's where we'll put the memory card. This is the one that I go for. Let's open it up, and I'll show you the two things that I look for for microSD cards, and I've bought a lot of these over the years, and I've made some mistakes over the years. This one actually comes with an adapter, so you could put it in as an SD card into your computer, which is really helpful. We really like those. They get bent over time if you keep them in the pocket, but anyway, this is the microSD card I go for, and if I can zoom in, it might be easier if I just show you the features on the back.

The two things that I look for when browsing on Amazon or buying them online is that they are Class 10. So, you need to see the words "Class 10" on there. And I can't see it on the back here, but I saw it on the product listing. Reassuringly, 4K UHD. It needs a fast speed to cope with 4K footage. So, for video, if you need a microSD card for a camera like the DJI Pocket 3, Class 10 is your friend. Let's open it up, and I'll show you how to fit a memory card. I used to call them memory sticks. Long time ago we had memory sticks, you remember those? And I've gone for SanDisk. I don't buy by price, but I've had lots of SanDisk, SanDisk Extreme. Hope I don't cut the card. Ooh, jeopardy! The other thing I look for apart from Class 10 is U3. There's that weird U logo with a number 3 in. They can come as U1. Those are the ones I think that don't work for me. So, I look for Class 10 U3. And the other feature that I look for, although I don't know the difference—tell me in the comments, educate me, he says as he cuts the card to pieces—it's like cutting a credit card, which I need to do after buying all this stuff, is A1 or A2 performance. I've gone for an A2 on this one. This is so well packaged. I'll leave a link to this in the description.

But there's the card, and now we'll put it into the Pocket 3. So, let's see which way 'round this works. It's not that way 'round. We've got the pins facing towards us. See if it's that way 'round. No. Oh, yeah, yeah, it is. That's the way in. And then we can click it in, and it kind of pops. It's got a kind of spring-loaded action. So, if I use my fingernail just to push it in once, and it pops out. So, that's how to remove the memory card from a DJI Pocket 3. And to put it in, put it with the back facing you if you're looking at the touchscreen, and we're just going to push it in with our fingernail, and push it again. It bounces out. It's like a trigger spring mechanism. So, you just push it in lightly, and then when you get to this stage, you need to push it again 'til it engages, it clicks, and then it will hold into place. And now, you can see the SD card logo top left-hand side, and it shows that I have 6 hours, 1 minute on my 4K at 24 frames. I've gone for a 256GB microSD card. You can obviously get them in different sizes at different prices, but that is how I fit a memory card into my DJI Pocket 3. I hope this video has helped.
