Hello.
This is a permanent online home for links to shows I've worked on.
It's also a place where I'm trying out new material... which is an experiment in itself.
I am a UK based TV comedy writer and script editor specialising in team-written narrative for family, teen and children’s shows. My credits include "My Parents Are Aliens" (itv1), "Freefonix" (BBC One), "Blackout" (Channel 4), "SuperNormal" (itv1), "The Worst Witch" (itv1), the double BAFTA-winning "Hedz" (BBC One), and "The RDA with John Gordillo" (BBC Choice).
I have also written on two of the world’s biggest web series, (lonelygirl15 and KateModern), the House Of Lies official ipad app (Showtime Networks), and run workshops on interactive storytelling for academic and commercial organisations.

I caught an episode of Scratch n' Sniff's Den of Doom for the first time yesterday morning and felt the need to write. As an avid puppet fan and growing up with the likes of the Muppets and Fraggle Rock I was incredibly impressed with it. The scripting was wonderful and very funny, whilst the puppeteering was absolutely superb to watch.
ReplyDeleteThank you for restoring my faith in children's programming; I will most certainly be watching it again - and I have no children :)
My appreciation for brightening a Saturday morning!
Blimey Michelle,
ReplyDeletethanks for the comment -- hugely unexpected, massively appreciated!
Hey Neil,
ReplyDeleteI met you in Dublin probably two years ago when you were doing a talk about online shows. I know you came and spoke about Storyland an online competition that RTE started last year. I produced one of this years shows called BUTCHERS we are down to the last 3 and I was wondering if I could post the link on your site when voting begins again?
Also are there any other webpages or blogs that I might put the show on? Any that you'd recommend?
All the best,
Rachael
Hi Rachel
ReplyDeleteDunno if you can see this reply -- thanks for the message:
The blog I go to most for web series news and recommendations is
http://lg15today.blogspot.com
which I think has just relaunched as
http://www.webseriestoday.com
Hope this helps, and good luck in StoryLand!
NEIL
Hey Neil,
ReplyDeleteAfter months of research and favors, we finally produced our first web series and wanted to share the details with you.
The show is called MAN-TEEN
The website: www.man-teen.com
The full first episode will be released on both Blip.tv and Koldcast this Wednesday.
Thanks for your time and taking look - your blog has provided us with LOTS of info we needed to make this actually happen!
All the Best,
MT
